Went last night, this place was so tasty! My friends and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, the veggie bibimbap with salmon, and the bibim-naengmyeon. We also had the plain soju. Everything was so tasty! My friends finished their food so quickly, it was astonishing. At the end, we were given Melona pops. We did not take photos, though, because...
Unfortunately, there was a bit of a neighbourhood crisis while we were there but the staff handled it so well and so calmly. They kept us all informed of what was going on as soon as they knew and made sure we always knew our exits and that we could leave whenever. I don't know her name, but the waitress with the curly black hair and glasses was so wonderful. Seriously phenomenal in a crisis situation. Major kudos to her and to everyone who worked there.
Lastly, I did end up having to take my bibim-naengmyeon to go because I was so stressed I couldn't eat due to the crisis, but am currently eating it now and it's still so good! It tastes great in the moment and the next day, too! So though we dined-in, I think it would do really, really well as take-out/delivery or even to order ahead for lunch the next day.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious Korean food in the...
Read moreI think this place is great - the service was prompt and generous, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was quaint.
But the pricing was super high. I guess that could be attributed to Seattle, Inflation, and Covid.
For example, the bibimbap was $15 - you might think this already includes beef, but it's an additional $3 to include the beef. So it was $18 in all. The portion size was normal and the amount of beef was unsatisfactory. Most of the time at other Korean restaurants, the pricing for bibimbap already includes beef. So I felt that this was pretty steep.
Other dishes on the menu range from $25 - $35 for an individual portion.
The highly praised GoMa chicken was good, but it was doused in sauce, so it quickly became soggy.
The banchan was good and they asked to re-fill it.
The best surprise at the end was the complimentary ice cream.
I would come back, but I do feel that the prices are steep for the portions given. The taste and freshness is...
Read moreShocked at how good this was. First, the place looks so bad from outside but I feel like that’s a good thing because it shows that it’s really authentic and it repels the snobby, it seriously looks so disgusting from outside I’m not even joking. I thought it was an abandoned or a grimy unsanitary restaurant, I love it.
The atmosphere is chill & it feels really clean, the boss runs it as if it were the navy but they’re super nice, they offered to give more side servings for my meal (for free I assume), but the serving was so generous I didn’t even ask for any, also I’m 258lbs and can break every single bone in your body.
Now, the food was okay tbh, but I won’t give a low rating because it’s the first time I’ve had this meal and I don’t have a criteria for Korean cuisine, everything felt really good, quality and I definitely will visit again. Also it’s slightly cheaper than most places I can think of around the area, very promising & I hope they...
