Starbucks — Restaurant in Seattle

I previously rated this location five stars, but this morning I had a bad experience. The baristas here are usually friendly, especially to regulars. However, the manager (Amanda) has an attitude problem. She needs to be re-trained. I’m a regular, and today I had a free drink. I typically get my iced drinks in a larger cup because I like heavy ice. Well, Amanda got my order wrong. When she went to add the cream that was missing, I told her it was also supposed to be in a trenta cup. She snapped at me and scolded me several times during and after she fixed my drink. She said Starbucks had a policy against what I wanted. So I got her store number and called Corporate to complain. Corporate apologized to me and said they would talk to her to let her know I was right and that if I wanted the larger cup then that was fine with them. They’re going to follow up with me after the speak to the rude manager. It’s a shame this happened. I like most of the baristas here a lot. I doubt...

This Starbucks is barely a year old so everything about is really nice. The drive thru lane is convenient for the commuters going down Aurora South. I've been in the drive thru a lot when there are a lot of cars at 5-6 AM in the morning. For the most part they get through peak lines pretty well and I've never had an issue with any of the staff that has served me coffee.

The inside of this place is pretty similar to all Starbucks. The environment is very inviting and they always play your typical "coffeehouse" music. The staff inside is very personable but the only downfall I can say about this is that they clearly prioritize the drive thru line. While going through the drive thru it would probably take 5 minutes tops to get coffee, the one time I went inside and ordered a coffee (granted this was at 10am on a Saturday) it took about 10 minutes. I used to come as often, but not anymore however, there are only 3 Starbucks locations I like going to. The first two I like them because they are 24hrs but there are times where my drink is not nearly as tasty as it should. However, may drink I get from here (usually I always get the same) ends up being well prepared. I have picked up my drink inside as well, and oh boy that this team regardless takes the time to teach properly their new fellow coworkers how to make their drinks. So far, I have not been disappointed to get my drinks from here. They are always tasty and well crafted/done. There was a time that I used to drive from South Seattle to here during traffic just to get a good drink, and not, I am not crazy. I like sticking with the places and people who make me feel well treated and better to say, make my business one of the kind and earn it.
