Hey friends, super confused about my experience here. First lame red flag was that they told me one price to get in but then when my card was charged I was charged $2 higher cause of tax? Next thing, I was in the corner pretty much the entire night dancing by myself getting my life and some of the ppl there kept coming up to me trying to engage me, particularly by touching me. Listen when I’m dancing I’m trying to connect with the DJ and be on that dancefloor! I really don’t like doing unnecessary talk and that should be ok! What really bothered me was the manager comes up to me and he wasn’t rude at all, but he’s like I’m going to have to ask you to leave- some of the customers are saying your dance moves are making them feel uncomfortable. He says we can talk more about it outside. We get outside and he says some of his bartenders and customers are telling him that I’m doing sexual moves and it’s making them feel uncomfortable. 😳. He offered to refund me my money but I was so confused that I really didn’t know what to say lol yikes. I just came to dance u guys! Next time I’ll just ask well where can I dance where my ‘sexual’ dance moves wont offend anybody!
Oh and lastly friends u can’t smoke weed in here so if your looking for a place to dance, smoke and rave out unfortunately this might not...
Read moreA hidden gem in the heart of historic Pioneer Square. Underbelly sits at the sub floor level, and with the unassuming entrance, you could easily miss the place but that's all part of the establishment's charm. This bar sends you to another time and place that was once a hustling and bustling Pioneer Square when Seattle was the last stop before heading up to Alaska to strike for gold. Descending into the bar the vibe instantly changes from streetlights and historic buildings to an underground bar with red, dim lighting and all the fine booze greeting you behind the bar upon entry. To the left is casual seating with a few round tables to hang and enjoy a snack with a finely crafted beverage, I highly recommend asking for a tequila or mezcal concotion if that's up your alley. To the right is a stage area with seating and an open floor, performers from different acts of music and an occasional red light evening can be attended here with a look through their calendar.
All in all if you're looking for a bar that is in the heart of a busy bar scene without being overly packed, this is your place. Bring a date or a small group of friends be transported to an atmosphere that captures the spirit of...
Read moreFirst time in Seattle and we stumbled across this place after a Lewis Capaldi concert. Josh served us some great drinks and like some sort of Harry Potter wizardry he managed to pull off possibly the most impressive song request without even knowing what I asked for. Let me explain, after discussing the Capaldi concert he asks "who else do you like?" My friend and I hesitate for a moment and in that moment Josh gets pulled away by another coworker. I turn to my friend and say I like Noah Kahan. Let me be very clear that I'm certain Josh was not in ear shot of this comment. We proceed to pay and then find a seat. Next thing I know there's a noticeable switch in the style of music being played and what do you know...it is a Noah Kahan song playing. I whipped around to see Josh coming over and I literally couldn't be more impressed. I'm still wondering HOW THE HECK DID YOU KNOW! Anyway...super friendly staff, great drinks and even better Harry...
