As a native of Ballard, and having experienced many hours of games with family and friends at MOX on eastside, I was excited to hear of Waystone in the heart of Ballard on Market St. The owners/creators of this club had a passion to open this upscale elegant shop now thriving due to its FUN, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with play and connection their focal point. While members are supported, Non-members are always welcome to drop by, bringing family and friends to laugh and rumble over the games or just enjoy a drink. You really can't go wrong with this place. Staff and clientele alike are friendly, positive, non-judgmental and helpful to newcomers and veterans just the same. The drinks (beer, wine, sodas, and beer/wine cocktails) are good, there's tons of (comfortable, well-appointed) space, and the membership options pay for themselves if you use their venue to order figurines or reserve tables.

I played my first game of Warhammer here, and this still stands as the best game store community I’ve ever known.

The atmosphere and vibes of this place are positive and welcoming, they have really good drinks with rotating specials that keep the menu fresh, and the selection of terrain and tables is incredible.
