Wow, where do I begin...
Letâs start with our smug server Mitch. I learned more about the wines from reading the back of the bottle whilst he was fawning over some open shirt hipster guy. Andrew at least pretended to be nice, but the overall professional and friendly/knowledgeable service wasnât offered to âusâ. It was plain to see that other people were welcomed and treated differently but we were certainly aware that we were not wanted here. Tolerated is the best word to describe how the staff treated us, and thatâs even a very big stretch.
While being âservedâ our flights we were corrected on how to say the names before we ever spoke them. Condescending and unprofessional service to say the least. The entire vibe was pretentious and unwelcoming.
My wife and I come from Woodbridge/Lodi, and I can honestly say we have been served much finer wine for half the price with 90% less attitude. The cheapest bottle of wine was $26, and it tasted like a Two Buck Chuck from BevMo. And you had to buy 2 bottles for the flight to be waived. Outrageous for this poor quality of wine.
By the way the âskinny jeansâ is absolutely awful. It tasted like they put a bunch of dirty skinny jeans in the vat when they made this Swill. When we took one sip, it was apparent that this wine was awful. We sent it back, and asked for a substitute. âItâs not for everyone â Mitch pretentiously replied to us and said that if we donât like it itâs still part of the âexperienceâ. Itâs not for âAnyoneâ with taste buds, change the name to âDirty Jeansâ for a more accurate taste description. Or maybe they realized it tasted so awful nobody would drink it, take in less calories and be able to fit into skinny jeans. Itâs garbage either way.
1 Star, not worth the drive...
Read moreI If I could give this business zero stars I would. I was visiting the Barlow with some friends, and parked in the parking lot behind this business. There are many businesses in the area and it is an open parking lot. I parked next to other cars, not knowing that they were not parking spots. There are no markers in this lot. Upon leaving, I was yelled at by one of their employees and called an idiot for parking there. He drove his forklift inside where I heard him say "I finally got to yell at one of the morons who parked there". I got out of my car to go and find a manager to tell them what the employee had said about me. The owner, Who I see is Pax upon agoing to their website to call the manager, came out, "I asked him why he allowed his employees to speak and talk about people that way, lied to my face, and said they were not an employee, told me that it wasn't a parking spot, that I blocked in all of their trucks and I shouldn't have been parking there. Then he admitted. that the building owner needs to clarify where the parking spots were and that they need to fix the parking lot. I asked him if he thought it was OK to call people names like that and yell at them, and instead of apologizing, he again lied and said that it wasn't his employee. There was no apology for calling me names or yelling at me. I guess it's OK in the owners mind to yell at a woman and call her names. Absolutely horrendous. I will tell everyone to avoid this business as they do not obviously have any morals or values and that it's ok to verbally...
Read moreWhat a sad experience! I was seated outside of Pax on a Monday morning attempting to reschedule canceled flights from the recent internet upgrade debacle. Pax had not yet opened, and I didnât realize that the picnic style tables in the alleyway even belonged to a specific business, let alone Pax. When a man began to set out couches and tables just in front of me, I just continued to work on my rebooking, etc. Then the man slammed a plant and sign on the table I was at and immediately said, âYeah, weâre open now, you need to go lady.â His tone was rude, and aggressive. I shared that he didnât need to treat me or anyone with such contempt and he became more belligerent, saying things like, âYou are sitting on property of a business that you arenât even patronizing.â Sadly for that man and for Pax, and really for all of us, a little humanity goes a long way, likewise inhumane treatment is also something that echoes beyond its...
