It was my neighborhood bar growing up, hadn't been there since moving to Florida 16 years ago. Very attentive staff, clean bar, great atmosphere. Meeting 10 friends there for the first time in 16 years made it priceless. Again Best Times coming to Charlie's Corner. Got to see all my childhood friends again this year. Love coming here. I was Friday night for my Birthday Party. Tara is a rockstar and so is Mark and Captain. There were about 25 of my friends that came out this time. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a party. In my opinion a dynamite bar. Tara I will see you for another get together on June 13th when I come back to Jersey. See you then.

Charlie’s was recommended while we were in town for a convention. Sad that we waited until the last night to check it out. This place was amazing! The locals warmed up to us and treated us like family. Tara and staff were truly the most hospitable and fun group to meet. Karaoke started at 10 and we closed the place down at 3am. Cash Only but ATM inside and guaranteed to have a great time. Special shout out to Tom and Dawn for the beers and feeling of home.

As for the review I just read about this place being racist, I think maybe there is just certain kinds of colored people they don't want in there. Understandable to a certain extent. Now I will leave that subject alone and talk about the karaoke DJ. I appreciated the compliment from the DJ about my old school high top fade haircut when he came to me at the bar and simply said he liked my haircut. But did he really need to get on the mic and make a freaking spectacle out of me as I was getting up to sing my karaoke. I was there to sing and have a couple of drinks. Not be a contestant in a hair show with the DJ as the judge. I was born in 83 so by the late 80s and early 90s I was definitely around to see people's hairstyles. Every high top fade is not...
