Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Sedalia

My favorite item on the Scooter’s menu is their Caramelicious Blender. I’ve been ordering it for a while and know what it looks like. So when they handed me my $6.20 glorified milkshake - with mocha sauce on it - I knew it was actually supposed to be caramel sauce. They even admitted to me that they had added the wrong sauce. The lady asked me if “that was ok?”. And I said no - because I just paid her almost $7 not to make a mistake. She rolled her eyes and walked off. Seconds later she came back (obviously with the coffee not remade) with the caramel sauce on top. But the mocha drizzle was still lingering. And I never received an apology. Just know that by coming here you run the risk of dealing with someone in a MOOD.

Edit: I visited here since my last awful experience, only to have a different bad one. I ordered a coffee through the app, and I had a family member pick it up for me. When they got there to pick it up, they were told there was no order. Even though I had an order number. I called this location several times, but no one ever picked up. So, over the course of TWO MONTHS I was emailing some manager to receive my refund. I had to make a dispute with my bank against them and everything. It was absolutely ridiculous. Obviously, this place will never again be my first choice for a coffee and I’ll absolutely never create another...

I had a friend who just finished their first shift, no longer than five hours and after she told me what happened i felt i needed to write a review. When she first arrived it all went okay but the training was very unprofessional. Once more and more people started showing up to work their shift one person would tell her to do one thing and then another would tell her she was doing it wrong so there is just loads of miscommunication and confusion training wise. The workers are rude and the whole workplace lacks communication. Workers were mean. snooty, and snobby. they complained a lot and once they would take someone's order and close the window they would make fun of or snicker and laugh at random customers who did nothing wrong to them. One specific girl they solely made fun of and laughed at because of her appearance even though she was very nice and kind to them. I know if i was looking for a place to work i would want to know how the work atmosphere is. So anyone who is looking to apply here, DONT. This place has a toxic and very mean spirited environment. Not only to new workers but to the customers that they think its okay to laugh at and make fun of. Bullying is never okay and they need to fire those awful workers. DO...

I ordered what i order at other locations. They charged me over a dollar more for the same thing. When i asked, the girl at the window was annoyed but did knock about 50 cents off. When i got on the road, and took a drink it tasted like something had gone bad. When i pulled back through the drive thru later, with the drink, they explained it had not expired and smelled fine. They did not offer to make another drink, or refund. Instead they just walked away from the window. This is the only time I've ever left a bad review for a business.
