Today when I went to go get my seafood I ended up grabbing a ticket and while they were helping the two a three customers in front of me when they were done one of the associates saw me ran in the back she was a female and a customer did not grab a ticket and a young associate waited on her not asking if she had a ticket in her hand. It seems that two of your associates were very unprofessional and tired. After the customer that cut me in line left I did not want to start a problem but I did say something to the associate asking him if you are taking tickets and why is customers that are walking into your establishment not taking a ticket and your associates are waiting on them it should not be that way. Also while you're associate was helping me this young black man constantly rolling his eyes and really did not want to be there quiet not smiling and didn't even apologize to me about the woman that rudely cut me and did not have a ticket in her hand. Also when he was waiting on me a couple of the customers walked in and did not want to take a ticket I did not understand why your associates were not asking these so customers to grab a ticket and then they would be waited on this would help with a line to form and that your customers get greeted and assisted correctly in a proper manner. I would have to say great food but the associates again the black young man and the woman that was working on this day did not want to be there did not seem happy to work there and wanted to go home as soon as possible also I did not appreciate the ruling of the eyes that is just so unprofessional. Not that great of...
Read moreI've been a customer of Tony's Seafood for many years. They have always been polite, courteous, and extremely informative. The phone staff is outstanding. They even help me pair wine with the seafood I'm purchasing. Try finding that level of service during all these lock-downs. They also began a delivery service to help service their patrons and help their business along. How do I know that? I used it weekly. On another note, reading some of the previous reviews, I'll add this. Having been a manager for many years, I have had my share of crazy people call. I'm sorry, the days of "the customer is always right" are gone. Imagine all day long that you have scared paranoid people calling your business. Take the time to look in the mirror and really ask yourself "Was I out of line"? Now i'm not saying that's always the case, but in my experience, it is often the case. I've lived in Barrington for 45 years and I know hundreds of people. I don't know one that can say a bad thing about Tony's Seafood. Especially the customer service. They literally kept me fed through the pandemic. Keep up...
Read moreCame in for the first time about 2 weeks ago with my mom and two year old daughter. The staff was incredibly friendly and is the reason I will continue to come back. Not to mention the store is very clean and well kept, and seafood is fresh and displayed nicely with lots of local options. One of the gentlemen working offered my daughter a pack of oyster crackers to snack on while we shopped, which she loved, and another gentleman even took lobsters out for her to see up close and educated us on how to tell the difference between a male and female lobster. Thank you for the great experience. I came back today and the same man that showed us the lobsters helped me. Still incredibly kind and knowledgeable on the products available. I will be back and will recommend to...
