This location seriously needs to work on its customer service and hiring of more professional employees! I'm in there the other day ordering and the girl making my tacos is rude and seems very impatient with me. Like I'm just an inconvenience to her. I took a couple seconds deciding what I would like on my tacos and she keeps repeating the same questions over with no real time for me to really think about what I want and answer. I just felt very uncomfortable and rushed. Just to note, there was only one other person in line and they were in front of me. I can appreciate the fact that that she would want to keep the line moving at a reasonable pace if there was a long line of people behind me but there was no reason for her to be in a hurry at all. She asked me what kind of meat I would like and I barely leaned over the glass (just my eyes over the top of the glass because my view is obstructed somewhat by the top of the glass) to get a better look and she, what I can best describe as, shooed me away with her hand and gave me a rude look. It really rubbed me the wrong way and I almost said something to her about the way she acted, but I thought better of it and said "I'm sorry" and let it go. Granted I get the fact for sanitary reasons of not having people lean over the glass (in hindsight, I get that I shouldn't have done that) but there were definitely better ways for her to have handled that situation. For instance, she could have said, "Sir can you please not lean over the glass" or some variation like that. In my opinion, it was just flat out rude and terrible customer service. I think some employees just don't understand the concept of good customer service and being nice/friendly to customers. I'm not looking for somebody to bow down to me but a little respect would be nice. To top it off, the steak in my tacos was fatty and gristly. I want to preface my next statement with, I'm not saying this to try to be mean/rude at all. However, I am saying it in the hopes that the employee in question may possibly be identified and given direction on how to better handle situations that she may encounter with customers in a more professional manner. The girl I am referring to actually had ,what I can only describe as, a faint black mustache. In any case, I would not recommend this location and I will definitely not be returning! There are plenty of other good places to eat in the area with very friendly employees and better...
Read moreI've only been here a couple times, usually I wouldnt care to write a review about any chain unless there is really a good (or bad) reason to. Everything was always good until today. I came in after dinner time on a friday night. I wasnt expecting it to be too busy since it was almost 9pm, but I decided to order online ahead of time anyway. I ordered and left immediately, there within 10 minutes. The line was almost out the door but the staff was doing a great job getting everyone taken care of quickly. My order was not up on the shelf so I just waited, and a staff member asked what name the order was under. Another staff member came up with a different order and asked if that was my name, when I said no she asked what my name was and when I gave it to her she said it should be up there and gestured to one of them, I looked over the receipt again and told her no it's for someone else. She went to the back and printed off a few tags and found one, brought it to me and asked if that was me. I said yes and she told me it had already been picked up. She went on to tell me they would have to make it again and it would be just a minute. No big deal, but damn that really sucks on both of our parts. Every time I go into a chipotle (or any place with similar online pickup) it's a thought that crosses my mind, that anyone could come by and pick up already paid for food. I cannot understand why they run this system of pickup. I do get that its fast and less hassle for the employees, but it is too easy for someone to walk away with someone elses food. The employees handled it seamlessly and made things right, but if I were in a rush I would have been really frustrated and it sucks to have the employees have to stop helping customers in store to remake an order they already did, and someone got away with something they didnt pay for and may not have even wanted. I know no one of importance will see this, but I think it's in everyone's best interest to change up their to go/mobile orders to prevent this kind of stuff from happening, and that goes for all locations. I will say, I'm sure it's because they were so busy and really rushed on this, but my boyfriends bowl was made pretty sparingly. Both of our bags of chips were really really light too, very disappointed with that. I'm still giving 4 stars because they promptly and kindly fixed the issue for me and the employees were doing great getting everyone...
Read moreI want to preface this by saying my review is mostly due to the location itself, and not the quality of the food.
I did a mobile order and arrived at the restaurant two minutes after my pick up time, and my meal wasn't ready on the rack. Which would be fine if I hadn't received a notification that it was ready and on the rack, and there were four other people who were also waiting for their food that wasn't on the rack. For the record, there were absolutely no bags on the rack. Finally, after I had been there for 5 minutes (and I presume the others had been there longer) a guy came out and asked for the names on the orders and then just handed everyone their bags. I wouldn't normally have an issue with this, but when the model is specifically designed to be set up where an online/mobile/takeout order is supposed to be put on the rack when it is finished so the customer can just grab and go, and then that doesn't happen? It makes no sense. I also was an Uber eats delivery driver a few years ago, and picked up from this same location, and had the same issue.
My other problem, which is probably just on me but makes no sense, is that I ordered a drink with my meal, but wasn't given a cup. So I went and asked for one. The woman was nice enough to give one to me, but told me is was probably in the bag. She was correct, it was. But that makes no sense. Who would ever think to check a considerably light bag for an empty cup. Again, that one is probably just on me for not checking, but still.
My last problem is that the restaurant just seemed messy and not well taken care of. The floors were kind of sticky, there was trash everywhere, and the soda machine had a huge pile of ice almost overflowing from the drain tray.
I'm not sure if this was just a one-off experience or if this is the norm at that location, as I have never picked up chipotle for myself from there.
Two stars only because the lady chose to be kind to me and give me an extra cup, instead of just being rude and telling me to get the cup out of the bag, and the...
