We went here about a month ago and it took them about 15 minutes to punch two items in the cash register. The first girl at the cash register decided it was time for her very long bathroom break and left us standing there while there was no one to take our order. We had to scream several times to get someone to help us. Finally, another gal came to take our order but seemed very confused with our complex order of two Whoppers. Took her some time to get it started, then she wanted to be nice and give us a coupon. That took about 10 minutes of rocket science trying to run the coupon through the cash register. Then she tried to talk us into ordering something different. So another girl came to help and finally got our order through. After the first 10 minutes I wanted to push them out of the way and punch the items in myself. Never imagined that entering two items into a cash register would be a 15 minute three person project.
So a month later we decided to give them another chance. Walked in and had one of the same gals as before, I think she was the manager. We ordered a Whopper and medium drink which got her even more confused than the last time. She asked ‘what size was that again?’ ‘medium’, then she replies ‘Here’s all our sizes, small, medium, large’, our response, ‘We’d like a medium’, then she gives us another blank look. At that point we had no choice but to give up. So we just walked out. I’m not sure what else we could have done. Apparently, ordering a medium drink is too complex of an order.
I’m not sure what’s going on at this Burger King but it seems like the employees don’t want anyone to be there. I would not recommend coming here, there are plenty of other very good burger...
Read moreShare the details of my experience? Wow well it is fast food don't get me wrong it's fast food I wanted because of all fast food burgers the whopper is a top 2 right behind the smitty burger from a long lost place called Jubilee that once existed in Tacoma, Wa. Like the Smitty, the Whopper has a flavor we have all come to love. If all was right with the world why in the world would I give it only 4 stars? I certainly feel the the king like all other fast food has pride in their product but not in those they choose to represent them. The wonderful person who was there to greet us was a wonderful lady who knew her job operating quickly and masterfully yet a deeper view into the kitchen revealed a sad state for American employment. I think that if a few more dollars could be spent paying these individuals perhaps future generations could learn a hygienic appearance. I certainly do not appreciate have my meal made by some beatnik that feels shaving and personal appearances are some standard of the man! I know that there is a certain level that must be maintained for food preparation to sustain cleanliness, I just feel that even if you are offended by what society thinks you should be private industry dictates that should you want a and maintain a job hair care and a shave are must have. My Whopper is still pay of my once a month treat but I find myself standing back presumably to examine the menu insider to get a glimpse of the chef, only then deciding if...
Read moreThis was our 2nd time eating at this BK. Both times the women taking our order were very nice with smiles a-plenty. The first time our order was both taken and ready fairly quickly but this time there was a delay with both. it was clear the shift was understaffed since the manager was one of the two women taking orders at the front counter and she was apologetic for the delay in taking our order. Both ladies were friendly and personable and as i said, smiled. I felt like a valued customer.
The restaurant could have been cleaned better (I saw an employee, a man at least in his 60s, sitting at a table which is the same thing I saw last time I was there) which detracted from my rating. Our table had crumbs on it and lettuce on the floor underneath. There were scraps of food and crumbs on the empty table next to us, again signs of understaffing with no employees available to clean tables and floors. The men's room, however, was neat and clean with the paper towel dispenser filled up. The first time I was here there were no towels at all.
The food was typical Burger King food but our sandwiches were served hot. The French fries were also hot, nicely crisp and salted, as were the onion rings.
Too bad the staff were unable to keep up with keeping the dining room clean even though only one or two other tables besides ours were in use. It would've earned the place a higher...
