I came in on a Tuesday for lunch. I was with my kids and celebrating an event that took place that day for one of my kids. We were so happy and trying to celebrate. They sat us in the bar section... weirdly. But I said nothing. The server was named Jessy. She never introduced herself( i only got her name on our reciept) she Only walked up to my table to get drink orders as soon as we sat down. I ordered my kids drinks and when I opened the 'adult beverage' menu, JESSY rudely dropped her hands from her paper pad and said 'I will be back,' and walked away. I was shocked and felt like I was a burden to her TWO other tables. She then returned 10 minutes later and only said to me..... AND I QUOTE,' you want a skinny?' She was referencing a skinny margaritas since I was looking at the margaritas menu. She never once asked us how our food was. Never refilled our waters and my kids had to drink my water since she refused to make eye contact with me . She would walk by our table and never stop. I was very polite and always said thank you , yes please. She did not even deserve the tip I left. I'm sorry that the waitress hated her job so badly she had to insult a customer to feel better about herself. My children even made a comment about how inattentive our server was. We were there for over an hour and only took us 10 minutes too eat.... 15 minutes for the food to be delivered.... the remaining time was looking for our Sever to get the check, get to go boxes... she literally dropped the check on my table with no word or eye contact. I had to get her attention to call her back and ask if we pay her or the front counter. We sat there looking around for over 15 minutes just trying to find out how we can leave! I almost just walked out. Most unenjoyable experience...
Read moreHoping it was just an off day…. We weren’t greeted until several minutes after walking into the place. Several employees and servers walked by before anyone greeted us. And once we were acknowledged, the person that walked us to our table didn’t speak, only grabbed the menus and gestures for us to follow. As far as the food goes, I ordered the taco salad and there was literally a half of a tomato just on top of the taco salad, instead of diced or sliced tomato being in the salad. Not a huge deal but a bit lazy. The biggest complaint I have is the absolutely inedible meal that was brought out for my three year old son. We ordered from the kids menu for him obviously, (which they were out of and had to just tell us verbally what the options were) he wanted chicken nuggets, which was brought out to the table five minutes later than everyone else’s food, and I can only assume his food was brought out late because it was just sitting in the oven burning… I understand accidents happen, I’ve been a bartender and sever myself and worked in the service industry for over a decade, and I would absolutely never take food out to a table that was in this condition. The chicken nuggets were inedible and I don’t say that hyperbolically. They were black and brown and too hard to even bite through if for some bizarre reason anyone was willing to try to eat the food. Our sever was kind enough, but we did have to flag her down at the end of our visit to get the check, we sat for about fifteen minutes after we were all done eating, waiting for her to come back to the table and she didn’t until we went out of our way to get her attention. Definitely don’t recommend and will avoid ever...
Read moreAlthough I've been told by family and friends this is the place to go when you're entering Fort Walton, I believe that everyone that I have spoken to about this place is completely misinformed. I ordered your most basic Mexican dishes a Nacho grande and a chicken chimichanga. Both of my dishes where slop. The nachos were given to me sloppy and everything was in the center which made all of the nachos soggy and greasy. Springs out the topping on my nachos consisted of a Spring mix salad blend that's been pre packaged I'm assuming I have never known cabbage to be in nacho Grande. Or carrots for that matter. Also for the nachos I was under the assumption that diced tomatoes were to be placed on it but in its place I got a 1/2 of 1 slice on diced tomato. And my side dish for my chimichanga was Mexican rice. The riced looked appetizing but tasted frostbitten like a had come out of a package and with nuked in the microwave. And at the beginning of our meal we were served nacho chips with sossa and they limit you on your salsa. I got a 1/2 a cup in one dish and a 1/2 a cup in another dish and by the time that we finish the dishes of salsa over half of my nachos were still in the bowl. The service was great. The waiters are extremely nice and pleasant. But the food if I had to score between a 1 through 10I honestly would give it a 2. I was extremely upset when my food was given to me but before I could talk to my waiter about it I never saw him again until I ask for the check. Although the prices are fair you wouldn't think it to be fair enough for the quality of food that...
