Krazy Karen's — Restaurant in Sharpsburg

My boyfriend, and I live and reside in Florida now. He attends the University of Florida. However I am from the Pittsburgh area originally, and we stopped by to visit my mother for Thanksgiving, and for her birthday in the Fox Chapel Area. We had a long, and fantastic day visiting Falling Water which is a national landmark, and is located close to Greensburg PA. We were getting tired but after we ate dinner I decided to see if my old friend DJ was in the bar because I used to like going out there with him when I still lived in Pittsburgh. Sure enough there he was, and we reconnected immediately. My boyfriend ended up meeting him, and we had a fantastic time playing pool. There are many other activities to do at Krazy Karen's such as Jenga as well which makes it unique from other bars. Now this is the best part. I never knew the owner Karen, but she happened to be there that night with her wonderful wife Linda. They were the sweetest people; they came right up and introduced themselves to us. They truly made us feel so special, and welcomed. The positivity and radiant energy that came from them both is a very rare quality to have in people nowadays. We even exchanged phone numbers, and I promised I would write this review in the morning. Please if you want to find a more unique, and different bar experience than what you are used to, Krazy...

Barstools torn. Breathalizer on wall speaks to the type of clientele. Reeks of cigarette smoke and cat urine. Cats wandering around and on bar where food is served in violation of health codes. I am allergic to cats but did not realize there were cats there until I started coughing and wheezing....

All the best things about a dive bar experience without any of the gross things about a dive bar 😆. Favorite local watering hole. It's big, clean, and has plenty of pool table, dart, and game action for those lookin for the extras. They even have a coffee station...
