Panda Express — Restaurant in Shawnee

STINGY AND GROSS!!

Just walked in there and ordered $100 worth of food for my family. It was hot as hell in there the whole time, but the food was good. As we were cleaning up to leave, the manager Crisla was near the trashcan and we were throwing away a couple to go boxes that we hadn’t used. She actually reached in the can, snatched them out of my kids hand and said “I’ll take that.“ Gross. On the way back to my car, I dropped my drink cup and the bottom broke out of it. I went back to get a replacement cup and the cashier gave me one. As I was filling it at the fountain, Crisla actually sent the clerk after me to tell me that I had to pay for the cup. After spending that amount of money at a fast food restaurant, I would’ve hoped they wouldn’t harass me about a five...

Food was good, however they were out of just about everything. By this I mean there was no hope of it even being made while there, we were just told they were either "sold out" of it or "out of ingredients to make it". This was upsetting as we came specifically for their chow mein and some other main dishes, but they only had orange chicken, string bean chicken, and a little but of a spicy dish I can't remember the name of. We made the most of it and just got a bunch of fried rice, orange chicken, and what remained of the string bean chicken. Visited several times since I live in Shawnee. We always visit the drive through and I get chow mein as my side and every. single. time. we get 95% vegetables 5% noodles, maybe less. We have gone all times of the day too, so this isn't like a before lunch, before closing or whatever point of day, it's all times. My husband and I went back through this last time and asked for more noodles because of how bad it was. So if you're going through the drive through ask if it's the bottom of the pan because apparently they keep the chow mein low stocked.
