We stop here quite often in our travels. This location is not close to our home. Today was not good at all. Our first stop by this location was around noon today. The line was wrapped around the building back to the highway. The line appeared to not be moving. We left and came back by on our way home. It was approximately 8 pm. There was one person at the pick up window. We pulled up to order and told to wait. Not a big deal. However, a larger amount of wait time elapsed than what we expected. We pull up to pick up window to sit behind the vehicle that was waiting when we initially pulled into lot. After a long wait, we pull up to receive one of our drinks. Told they were making the second one. We wait, wait, wait. Only to see them place the drink on counter to wait some more. Both drinks were missing sweetener and tasted like latte, not mocha and they both looked different and taste wrong. Walk up to door, knock. They notice me knock and ignore me. I wait and knock again. Completely ignore me. There was 4 people in there behind counter within no-one in line. We go back around, only to wait, wait, wait. We voice our complaint. They go to make new ones. We try to hand the product to them, only to have the window slammed in our face and told " we can't take them" then immediately slam the window leaving us holding the bad coffee. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! VERY RUDE!! it took approximately 20 plus minutes to receive our product and we were only people in line. Also, why were doors locked with no notice on door as to why and not acknowledging a customer knocking...
Read moreStarbucks coffee is nasty. It’s not good. If you’re coming to starbucks, it’s out of desperation for caffeine to avoid withdrawals. That is what brought us in today. We know the quality of the coffee is not going to be amazing, but that’s because Starbucks itself is not craft coffee. However - I am leaving a 5 star review. We walked in the door to a PACKED out waiting line. The staff was MOVING and getting out coffee orders brilliantly fast. They were kind, helpful, attentive, and had the best attitudes. On top of having a drive through line wrapping around the whole building, they were getting mobile app orders from people who were on their way to get their coffee, and they had a long line of inside customers. We waited for 10 minutes and they cleared the line inside, were able to service the drive through quickly, AND fulfill a number of mobile orders. The entire time we were there, Curtis was talking to us, and working quickly and efficiently. One impatient customer complained of having to wait for her order for more than a few minutes (obviously not acknowledging the 50+ orders that the staff knocked out before hers in a VERY short amount of time), and the staff was quick to apologize and help her get everything she needed. So kind. Such incredible service. 5 stars to the Shawnee Starbucks crew. Keep working hard, we see your dedication...
Read moreI genuinely love getting my coffee from Starbucks. I love the simplicity of ordering online and not having that crippling anxiety of trying to figure it out at the monitor when I arrive. I get one of the three same drinks every time because I don’t like getting something in fear of not liking it, and I generally will force myself to drink the small mistakes because they’re bearable and I understand it’s different baristas. But today one of my normals tasted solely like oat milk. I tried calling six times before arriving back at the store so I didn’t have to be “that person” and they didn’t answer. So when I arrived I politely told them that my order didn’t taste right, like it was missing coffee. The girl at the window asked me if it was something I’ve got before (because I add extra stuff to it) and I said yes, she still tried making it seem like it was my mistake. That bothered me. You can see the visual difference between the two. I order the same thing every time. It’s in my favorites, I don’t even...
