I like to start by saying, this place never answers any phone calls. Here’s my horrible experience at this location. I placed an app order, I was routed to the subway that’s located in Shelby Township on 23 mile Road and VanDyke. This is my very first time ordering from that location. My order online was 4 foot long sandwiches, two cookies 2 coke and a bag of chips. It was also suppose to be a curbside, I arrived 35 minutes after placing the order. When I got to the restaurant I parked right outside, with my type of vehicle and color giving during ordering on the app as requested. Sat in my vehicle for more than 10 minutes, no one came out with the order. I tried calling the store several times. There was no answer. I finally decided to go in to the store myself t grab my order, I greeted the employee behind the counter, and asked that I had placed a curbside online order. She replied, it’s here and I’m just finishing with it. The employee wasn’t too happy and not welcoming. I also asked about my cookies and in A loud voice, she I’m out . So I replied, well I didn’t know because I paid for it through the app, she said the word LISTEN. I didn’t appreciate the attitude and the way I was spoken to.. I said I placed an app order and I’m here to pick it up, This was after over half an hour that I gave to prepare my sandwiches and get it ready. My online order was curbside, toasted bread, cut in half, extra meat on my two steak and cheese sandwiches, which I paid extra five dollars per sandwich. The employee was very frustrated, I’m not sure why. Maybe because they were working while it was a holiday, and working by their self, over work load. I said don’t take your frustration on me, I’m the customer here and you need to take care of me. I said if you are mad, complain to your manager or the owner that they have you working by yourself. Bottom line, every time I spoke to her, she would reply with a very loud voice LISTEN IM TELLING YOU… That is when I stopped her and told her to respect her customers just as she wants to be respected. She got very loud, there was another customer that walked out. At this point I wasn’t happy at all. I asked for my order and she wouldn’t hand it to me. She threatened to call the manager. There was no answer so then she told me leave the store and that she was going to cancel my order. She also took her apron off as if she wanted to fight me. I just wanted to take my sandwiches and leave out of there in peas before somethings stupid what to happen,. I left without grabbing my chips and for the cookies they were not available. I did ask for the manager’s name I was given was Jesse. Not sure if that was a made up name or not. I called the store 4 times today, there was no answer. On my last call I let it rang for about a minute and a half and no one bothered to pick up the phone. Food was horrible, it was not toasted, bread was soggy, and not the portions of meat that I usually get at another SUBWAY that I always pick up my food nearby my work. This is bad for business. My wife went in to purchase 5 ft long subs for a gathering at our home to watch the game last Sunday. 4 of our guests including myself got sick. The bread was sour & dry, the lettuce was all wilted, the vegetables were like mush, it was a complete disaster. We tried calling in, but no one ever answers the phone. My wife then goes up there and is treated very disrespectful by an employee named Evan Reynolds. She explains the whole situation, asks for a manager, he says that there is none. She asked for the name of the owner of the franchise, he says that her name is Dawn, but she is never there. My wife points out the dirty counters, how the vegetables are all sitting in water, the guacamole looked like it had mold in it and the kid just laughed at her and told her to come in the following day. I went in the following day, asked for Dawn, he said she is not here, I then asked for the manager on duty, the same kid from the day before, “Evan”, answered me saying, “are you here for the lady from the night before”, I said you mean my wife, he said I guess. He then stated that the management who is never there reviewed the camera footage and saw that he did everything right and that I needed to leave and that I was not welcome back there. This is how you treat a paying customer who you gave rotten food to??? No owner, no manager, only an adolescent kid with a very poor attitude who thought the entire situation was a joke while he smirked and made his rude comments to me & about my wife. Look at the pictures of there prep area & you be the judge. After getting the subs and going to the register the employee said he couldn't take our coupon even though the address is right there on the flyer. He proceeds to show us his computer screen as if that would make it okay but I said well that's not going to work because my coupon is for $17.99 and he kept offering $19.99. Without making eye contact he kept telling me do I want the Subs or not. I said I have a coupon and I will be purchasing them for $17.99 and he kept telling me that it was his first day and that he didn't know his manager's name that he there's nothing he could do about the computer. After I purchase my three Subs he offered to give me his manager's name so I could call him in the morning. Of course he didn't know the manager's name. Then he offered to call the manager and I said well I just purchased the subs and you have customers waiting here to get their food so don't worry about it- I'll call him in the morning. Of course I call in the morning and there's no answer and it keeps ringing and ringing. Also Beware of the men's bathroom my husband said it was disgusting. I'm assuming since he was the only employee things aren't getting cleaned the way they should and he keeps saying he doesn't know anything, he doesn't know his boss' name, and apparently he doesn't know how to dress because he looked like a plumber with a huge crack showing.
