We Went to Chick-fil-A last night at 9:59 pm and was the last customer in line. I expected to have a horrible experience like most fast food places at closing, and figured they tell us either they’re closed, they’re no longer taking orders, are out of something, (my whole reason for going was to get a shake), but had no expectations of getting one I figured their machine would be down or something, or the food cold, or their attitude would just be horrible since it was right before closing, which unfortunately all of these things have occurred when we try to get food right before closing at other fast food places. However much to my surprise we were met with such great customer service. The young lady who took our order greeted us with a smile, and was patient with us while we tried to figure out what we wanted. She said smiling I got you, your our last customer for the night. When I said we were paying with a card no problem, I thought they might say our machine was down. When we got to the window we were greeted by the whole store, they were clapping and saying we were there last customer they were playing music they gave us free brownies and a free item with our next visit. They were just so friendly all of our food was hot and delicious, and to top it off we were there a total of seven minutes. It’s just really nice to see people that actually seem to like their job and give such a great customer service in a fast food restaurant. It...
Read moreChic fil A is great. I thought I was going to have nightmares about how long that line is when it's wrapped completely around the outside of the restaurant. However, I decided that today was going to be the day........Best choice I made that day.
I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich meal, tenders, nuggets, and a drink. It was a light medium sized order. It's been some years since I visited a chic fil a and they way they do things seem to work. It only took a couple minutes to go from the outside line to being directed to 1 of the 2 actual food lines. From there it was about 5-7 minutes until one of the many order takers approached my vehicle to take my order. After that it was about another 7-9 mins before I got my order and pulled out of line to leave. The whole process was about 21 minutes. Normally that would be unacceptable to some degree but there had to be no less than probably 40+ vehicles in front of us. It actually moved incredibly quick.
The food was really good especially the chicken sandwich because of the freshness and the juiciness of the chicken breast. The tenders were also juicy and tasted great. The chic fil a sauce and the honey mustard were really food pairings with the food that was ordered. The lemonade was really sweet but was also really good. The only hiccup was I asked if they could put cheese on my fries and although the order taker said yes, they gave me 2 pieces of cheese in a box...
Read moreSo I had been avoiding the hype for chick-fil-a for some time but I figured I'd give it a shot. Very quick service, it wasn't too busy. I pulled out the chicken sandwich and boy did it look sad. I didn't hesitate to dig in, so i tried the chicken by itself first. This isnt a very thick batter, it resembles how i tend to fry my chicken. I was very hungry, and to be greeted with an adequately moist piece of chicken was a good sign. The meat itself had a deep flavor (MSG maybe? Probably). It was certainly different than the other fast food chicken sandwiches I have had. Not necessarily better, but different. Had a sort of like, nasty but that's the nasty that you go to these places for, when nasty is what you want. I opened the sauce to get the full experience, and the sauce tastes like a honey mustard with extra seasoning and some hickory liquid smoke. It was certainly something. It was a good complimentary pairing with the weirdness of the chicken. Overall I would say it tastes absolutely nasty (in a way that you might want sometimes, I don't judge), but I would define my experience as unique, but not special. I won't be going back. In my opinion it was not remotely worth the $7 for sandwich plus small fry. Edit: I just wrote this review, but chances are I may go back one more time to reaffirm or adjust this rating. But as of right now I was wishing I had spent my one eating out day for...
