So for starters, this store is fabulous with the ever changing merchandise. From men's and women's clothing to childrens and baby. Also a large selection in shoes for all. The prices are great on most things but on a few, not so much. The store is a great size, housing both Marshalls and HomeGoods. Marshalls is in the front of the store with lots of merchandise. It is well stocked, clean and orderly. It can however get chaotic at times when the store is busy, as the aisles could be a tad wider to allow 2 people to pass by while shopping without compromising your personal space. It's also a hit or miss store. Either they have everything and you are searching for, or nothing seems to be what your looking for or the right size. That is not their fault though as this store is a an off-priced type store which relies on the purchase of over-produced, or excess, branded goods at a lower price, thus being able to sell to consumers at a discount compared to other stores which purchased an initial run. None the less, it's fun to find major brands of merchandise at bargain prices and the best part is when you find a real gem that looks great on you and fits perfect and the price is significantly lower than the big stores. It makes you feel great and also comfortable buying with confidence knowing you just saved a bundle. As far as the beauty product area, it always seems to be in disarray. Items tend to always be stewn about. A lot of merchandise seems to have fallen or placed on the bottom of racks due to overflow giving a very cluttered look. The jewelry counter is always well maintained the hand bags as well. The girls section above size 10-12 is lacking. Same with the boys sizes between child and teen years. There is never much to offer in either area. Unfortunately jumping to a JR size extra small is out of the question due to the styles are for a more mature person. The dressing rooms are usually kept up nice, the bathrooms too. The back of the store is Home Goods. This store is a pleasure to shop in as well with numerous finds for the enthusiasts looking for something different or well priced. From specialty foods, candles, dishes, pots and pans to rugs, sheets, and blankets of all sorts. Small furniture items, pet supplies and always a great selection of seasonal items for that special rare find. Again, back here the aisles are narrow and the merchandise is overflowing. So if you can over come the tightness you may experience on a busy day then I recommend exploring the endless possibilities of what you may find. The store is on a very busy road but the access is easy with multiple entrances and a huge parking lot. The staff is kind. Not all that helpful as this store is more or a help yourself type of shopping experience. I took away 1 Star as the only draw back is that the store is somewhat cramped with the isles being narrow and the rows and rows of overflowing merchandise and the beauty section being a bit of a mess more times than not. Other than that, to me it's what I call a candy store! Be prepared to find many things you love and your cart filling up. Have fun...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: I called the customer service number provided in the ownerās response the next morning and explained everything again to a representative. He took my name and phone number and said someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours. Letās see what happens. Second Update: They never call me back.
I often come here with my family, but today we had a very unpleasant experience. I had a full cart with a few items that didnāt have price tags. The cashier asked another employee (possibly the manager) to check the prices for us. About five minutes later, she came back and told us the prices. One of the items was a baby bottle warmer, and she said it was $29.99. We decided to buy it and paid for it.
While we were waiting for the cashier to bag everything, the same employee came back and said the bottle warmer should cost at least $100, not $29.99. Then they discussed further and decided the price should actually be $199.99. Excuse me? We had already paid the price they gave us, and now they wanted more?
The cashier apologized and said they couldnāt sell it to us at that price (even though they already did) and that they had to issue a refund. Technically, the item was ours since we had already paid for it and were just waiting for it to be bagged. But they took it back, which felt like they were stealing it from us.
The employee had the chance to verify the price initially, told us it was $29.99, and then completely changed it later, claiming it should be six times more. We have no idea where she got the first price from. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldnāt want anyone else to go through the same thing. It was very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to be honest and say I used to not have any luck finding things here a few years back. I'm not sure what happened, but now I have a hard time leaving without something! Do not be intimidated by the long lines! I'm amazed at how fast it goes! Unfortunately, they don't have hardly a thing in my size shoes (large). But I can't get over the unique clothing items I can find. I get a lot of compliments on my clothes and people can't believe how little I pay. I honestly feel like I'm a nerdy walking ad for them because it's almost the only place I shop for clothing anymore. I was even able to shop with friends on a budget for 3 families we adopted for Christmas through church. We found almost everything we needed within our budget. Some things like gloves we didn't get because they're a great price for the types of gloves that they are but expensive in the first place, if that makes sense. I have 3 lamps from there that I found at great prices. (2 floor/1 table) I have also found a lot of unique and good quality kitchen items but sometimes it hit or miss on finding the items I need. Their items for pets are either hit or miss. The toys are neat for dogs and cats, but the cat condos...
