Not very impressed and extremely overpriced! My wife and I ordered takeout from this location for the first time this evening. The order consisted of 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers, 1 Large Fry and 1 Milk Shake. First and foremost, $26.14 is a lot of money for a takeout order of this size. We could have had a much nicer sit down meal at a local Coney Island or Sero's restaurant for this kind of money. By the time we got the order home, the buns on the Cheeseburgers were a soggy mush and totally soaked in grease. The Large order of Fries (which is actually a cup of fries) was even worse. They were completely limp, without any crispness whatsoever and fully saturated in grease. $5.29 plus tax is also a lot of money for a cup of fries and my wife and I couldn't even eat them. Maybe we just caught them on an off night, but for this kind of expense and the overall disappointment in the extremely poor quality of the meal, we'll spend our money elsewhere in the future! I was there when Five Guys opened in one of Chicago's most "trendy" neighborhoods called Lakeview East 14 years ago. Never heard of them before. Signs posted regarding where the potatoes for the fries actually originated from. Woo hoo. It was also the first location to CLOSE in the Midwest a few years ago. Emily and Carson had been there 3 times and that was enough for them while waiting for the cupcake store rage that was taking over the lakefront area. Then it was fast food hummus outlets that Iowa natives had never heard of before. I don't remember Five Guys being THIS expensive back then. I was making 1/2 the $ I am now yet paying DOUBLE the housing cost I am now in Michigan..yet didn't have to think twice about going to Five Guys like I did tonight. If you like Five Guys, enjoy it while you can. They are marketing wizards. An extra * because the fries ARE good.

This location has pretty good service, eager staff.
Food is good, usually prepared as ordered, except on 4/28.
Told Lorenzo we had a fresh tomato allergy.
So, the burger came with 3 slices of 🍅's.

A mature guy in a black polo, dove in, made a fresh double and was super sincere and kind.
In closing, I've been here well over a dozen times.
The staff needs to turn the racous music down. Hard surfaces everywhere and the music is Anything but entertaining.
