Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

So I have a few issues here, a couple of months ago I had a sandwich from there that had literally 1 pice of meat on it, it was horribly put together, I called spoke to someone they told me I could get a free sandwich, I never used that free sandwich, then we ordered again, I forgot about the free sandwich at that time, we had 5 to 6 sandwiches they didn't deliver one, I called back they were suppose to deliver the sandwich and delivered the wrong one, had to call again, they apparently gave me a 10 credit, I thought I would be a sandwich. So last week we called to get them and they had no delivery driver, so we waited so today we called to order they only said they had the 10 credit, they couldn't do anything about the other one. I was on the phone with them maybe 6 to 7 minutes, when I wanted to order they said they had no driver , his shift ended 5 minutes ago. Not sure if that is true or not, but that would be second time in 2 weeks. How much money are you losing with no delivery drivers, as an owner i would look at this, bc I usually order 5 to 6 sandwiches and sides my bill averages between 70 to 90 dollars when we go but now I will be rethinking if I...

I'm giving this location 5 stars, NOT because of the service today, but because I know what the team at this location is capable of and it's not often enough that people jump to review something positively unless it was EXCEPTIONAL or they're specifically asked or promoted to... So, I'll say this... Every time (prior to today) we have order food for our office, the service is great, the food is great and the delivery is Freaky Fast. The girl who delivers to us from this location is wonderful and kind, she always talks to you like a friend you just haven't seen in a while and she genuinely makes people happy when she is here. Today, she was apologetic and I could see that the deliveries and short-handedness was wearing on her.

Thank you for doing what you could and being genuine when you arrived. I was annoyed, but mostly just from being Hangry.

My family and I went through the drive thru. We ordered 2 Italian Nightclubs w/ peppers on the side, and a little John w/turkey&cheese for our 5year old. The lady said it was going to $30. When we got to the drive thru window we asked why it was so much. Apparently, they rang us up for a full size turkey Tom. The lady at the register was very nice and apologized. The supervisor came up and said to my wife “next time say you want a little John”. She blamed her instead of her employee who rang up the order incorrectly. Needless to say I stepped in and told her not to dare blame her for their mistake. She did say little John, I heard it myself.

So, they fixed the price and we thought they fixed the order too. As we drove off we realized there was no peppers and they didn’t give us a little John. They left the full size turkey Tom in the bag. Normally this would be fine but it’s a big sandwich for a five year old to handle. The sandwiches weren’t great and a bit dry.
