Have to change my review about this place. The owner accused me of stalking his employees just because I would originally come in once or twice on a weekly basis, mostly Saturday nights. This place most likely has no valid proof, or documentation that I did such a thing. Just the owner's claim that 100% of the times I came in were nights that a certain, unnamed server was working.
Odds are that claim isn't likely true. What's worse is that this business attacked me with these horrible comments in an attempt to hurt, and slander me. After reading them, I have a strong inkling of who the owner was referring to. Funny thing about the owner's statements is that the staff had already told me months before the incident first occurred that the employee I suspect the owner was referring to had already quit her job there back in 2017, and that she is no longer works there. If the owner is referring to the same individual, I know right off the bat that all his claims are wrong.
Please, save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. I'd hate to see anyone else be attacked in store, and online with these type of statements. I don't know why the owner is doing this, but I'm not going to let this business get away with this.
FYI, I've been going to this place for over three years, and I have never had a single issue with any of the staff until the day of the incident. Read moreService was terrible. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizer. Waited another hour for our food. Beers were mediocre at best. On a positive note the pizza roll appetizer was delicious. Cuban sandwich was good, although the fries were cold even though the sandwich was piping hot. Mac n cheese was good too.
I appreciate your quick response to our review. However the restaurant was maybe at half capacity when we were seated. There’s no reason it should take 45 minutes to get an appetizer. And if was I able to get a hold of someone to mention this, how would you have made it any better? Are you saying that service would have been expedited if we would have complained? Read moreWe were at Sherwood Brewing Company on 1-14-23. They were hosting a birthday party in the back room which slowed things down, A LOT! We were never told that the kitchen was busy or that there would be a wait. After waiting for our food for one hour (and telling them that we were leaving and wanted our bill), we were told that the kitchen was backed up due to a party (we totally understand this and feel that had we been told about this right from the get-go, we could have decided if we wanted to order food, or not). Once we asked for our bill, we were told that our food was coming right out and that our bill would be adjusted. The management took the price of two beers off our bill and gave us a coupon for some pretzels that we could use on our next visit (we won’t be going back).
