This is UNDOUBTEDLY thee WORST ABC Warehouse and customer service from ANY business that I've EVER experienced in the history of EVERdom. Let me start by saying that aside from nobody acknowledging my entrance into the store, after I spoke to the salesman....he still displayed no interest in my business...I'm guessing that it was my darker skin tone and that I was a woman (my husband is hospitalized so I had to handle this). Fast forward, nobody was helpful but I immediately needed a refrigerator so I paid over $1600 cash. Moving along, I received a call stating that my delivery window was from 2-6 pm but by 3:30 pm I called to get an ETA to determine if I should start removing food from my fridge and was told to just wait and that someone would still call me before they came. By 6:15 pm I still had no fridge or phone call, so, I called and found out that staff was done delivering for the day....no one was apologetic...remorseful and in fact very attitudinal and said "what do you want me to do about it". I was in awe at the rude service and sheer lack of interest to apologize or make things "right". Immediately, I got my babies dressed and left to get a refund before the store closed. Once I made it to the store, nobody acknowledged me and didn't want to service me, but, I was ultimately able to get a refund.
Needless to say, avoid this abc warehouse location at all cost. This establishment acts like it is independently owned and may be sub-leasing under the abc warehouse name but not an actual abc warehouse. If I didn't know any better, other than the name on the building...I'd say that this is an overpriced poorly ran "family" establishment and not an authentic ran abc warehouse. Likewise, if you are african american...RUNNNNN...your business is not desired here...avoid the frustration that I endured against my better judgement. Lastly, if you are a hard working individual and care about whether or not your dollar is valued and/or that you can trust the retailer...this location is not it. Nothing honorable about this location at all.
Update: I spoke with the regional manager over the Hall Road Lakeside ABC Warehouse location and but that did explain so much more to me. The regional manager had poor customer service as well and it all starts at the head. The regional manager appeared disinterested in what I had to say, unapologetic about my experience and had no professional conversation...I personally felt like he had been versed by the store on my issue and had made up his mind before speaking to me that he didn't care. Also, he was so unprofessional in his communication that I thought that it was one of the salespeople pretending to be the regional manager but unfortunately not. At this point...just avoid abc warehouse all together and go with a bigger box store that actually provides...
Read moreAfter my husband and I spent $7566.34 for all new appliances, and 2 new rocker recliners, I went to the ABC Warehouse located at 15477 Hall Road in Macomb Township, Michigan to talk to our salesman Omer Rashid on 2-17-2025. I let him know that the 2 brand new rocker recliners we purchased on 2-1-2025(that were finally delivered on 2-11-2025) caused my husband and I severe neck and back pain. Omer proceeded to tell me that ABC Warehouse does not refund furniture. I asked him why he didn't divulge that information before we purchased the recliners and didn't get an answer from him, so I asked him if he knew ABC Warehouse's refund policy. Which clearly, he did not as I handed him the refund policy, I printed from ABC's website stating: "At ABC Warehouse, we work extremely hard to satisfy every customer. If your recently purchased item is not functioning as designed due to product failure, simply call your salesperson at the number listed on your sales receipt. If you don't remember your salesperson's name or can't find your receipt-no problem-just call 1-800-722-3333 and someone will help you. ABC Warehouse will, at our discretion, repair it, replace it, or depending on your method of payment (with valid receipt-WHICH I BROUGHT WITH ME) will offer store credit or a full refund. All sales are final on overstock, closeout, and clearance items." I proceeded to tell Omer that his coworker that walked away from him prior to my entrance, told me that Omer could call Corporate and get an override for the return of the recliners. Omer stated on Monday 2-17-2025, he would call me on Wednesday 2-19-2025 which clearly was a LIE since I have not heard from him! If I had been told upfront that furniture is not returnable, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THE RECLINERS!!!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE HALL ROAD ABC WAREHOUSE EVER AGAIN!!!! Read moreThey say that Mattress Stores are greedy, but after visiting ABC warehouse I think this may only apply when dealing with Art Van.
Had the most pleasant experience this week dealing with one of your associates named Armando. It was our first visit at ABC warehouse picking out a new bed for me and my wife.
We didn't even know ABC carried mattresses until the guy at Art Van said why would you go to a store that sold washer and driers to buy a bad.
I guess the guy at Art Van was wrong.
Anyways, Me and my wife have been shopping around for the last few weeks for a new bed, and every time we walk into one of these "STORES" it feels like there are vultures circling all around us trying to be the first one they can dig their claws into and to force us to buy something.
Our sales rep, Armando was different, after coming into the store Armando greeted me and my wife and thanked us for choosing ABC warehouse and led us to your bedding section.
Once we said what we where looking for Armando made a few suggestions, and said to take all the time we needed to test out the various models and get him if we had any questions.
I really enjoyed this, because most of the time the vultures will stand a few feet away trying to get you to make a quick decision so they can make their quick sale.
This was not the case this time...
Me and my wife spent a good 20 -30 minutes trying out beds. When I was ready to buy easily found Armando asked some more questions and we completed our purchase.
We ended up getting the best one they had with the heat and adjustable frame.
Very very happy we choose ABC and got Armando.
We will be coming back next week to get a 4K tv for the bedroom now that me and my wife are using it for more that just sleeping.
