Very rude, poor management. I have been a customer for years and was treated like garbage when the owner decided to put an unqualified, unprofessional person in a position of authority. The owner promised to get back to me after handling the situation and he never did. When loyal customers are treated with no regard, that says a lot about a place and the people running it. Extremely disappointing after spending thousands at Sweetwaters over the years.
Hi Dave, how kind of you to respond. I never suggested firing your employee. You don’t know how to satisfy my request? A great place to start would be having a serious discussion with your employee regarding how to treat other employees and customers with kindness, respect, and decency. This should be innate behavior for a manager. The issue is not that I don’t get along with Britney. I have been nothing but kind and polite to her. She is anything but professional and I am one of many who were bothered by her negative attitude and lack of discernment and tact. I am not the only person she has made to feel uncomfortable and awkward. You know that, because the first thing you said to me was that this isn’t the first time you’re hearing complaints like this. She may be helpful in some areas for your business, but customer service should be one of your main focuses and this girl displayed some of the poorest customer service I’ve ever encountered. Again, not the only one who thinks this or feels this way. It is disappointing that you did not try or bother to follow up with me like you said you would. You were more concerned about “upsetting” a newly employed manger than a paying customer of 4 years. I found that mind boggling. I do not have the attitude problem, therefore her negative attitude is out of my control. That is where her boss needs to step in and set clear expectations...
Read moreThis review is based solely on the service we received on May 13th around 6:35pm. This was our 3rd visit in the last 5 days and the previous 2 visits were really awesome. We were helped by the lady with purple hair and she was really awesome ( sorry I don't remember her name). Today we ordered a chai tea latte ( cold), ginger lemon tea ( cold) and 2 cup cakes. I asked for a lemonade to be split for my young kids and she said that wasn't possible and I can get 2 doubles or split it by myself using the open cups. I really wanted the lids so my toddlers won't spill it, so I told her to cancel that. Total came to around 20.94$ and I added 20% tip. When the order came out the drinks were both hot and the cupcakes came in a box . We asked for plates and she said that they don't give plates after 6pm ( this is the first time I have ever heard of a rule like this) My husband went and politely asked the lady if she can change just 1 of hot tea to cold and her response was that I placed a order for hot drinks and not cold and she couldn't change it. (I had specifically asked for cold drink and I confirmed with the person we were meeting as she was right next to me). She was pretty condescending and asked if he needed to see the manager to which he said yes. She right away pulled the female card and said he was giving a hard time just because she was a female. He wasn't sure how to respond back and told her don't worry about the drink. To the owner: please feel free to review the video to corroborate what I just explained. Please hire people who can treat customers with respect and does...
Read moreFirst time coming to this specific location, first time ever going to sweetwaters for my hubby. One of the employees was the sweetest, ponytail & glasses, I absolutely enjoy her. She has a sunshine personality that is contagious and beautiful.
The other employee was the one who took our order and kind of seemed to just want to rush us and get us out of there. I understand that we stood there looking at the menu for a bit, which can be annoying to some people I get it, but my husband has an eye disease, so it takes him a bit longer to read & I will help read some things off for him. Again, first time, and they have a ton of tea/coffee options.
I would like to also add that we were standing out of line to look at the menu and made sure people coming in knew we weren't in line yet.
We ordered a matcha latte, an ice dragon, a yogurt parfait, and a sandwich. Hubby wanted a blondie as well but as he ordered it, the employee asked if we wanted it here or to go. We got confused because I hadn't ordered yet and we were like uh... I guess to go. So he didn't hear my hubby say he wanted the blondie. And he gave us the wrong sandwich when we did get our food. (Gave us turkey instead of bacon for a bacon-egg-cheese)
The food was pretty good but that ordering experience really bummed me out. We will either stick to delivery or go to the other location. I'm sure it's not like that all of the time, it just gave me a lot of anxiety and felt so...
