Taco Bell — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

Why is this the worst taco bell? 🤣

Every time I go, it's attitude and lies from the employees.

Today it was raining cats and dogs, so I was a little louder at the drive thru and the child working there shouted 'You don't have to yell!' which, ok, yeah, I was a bit loud to make sure I was heard. Whatever. I apologize and give my name and I hear 'Ugh, GOD, is that right on the screen?!'

Didn't even respond, just drove to the window and I was given a drink where the top of the lid just had a full layer of coke on top that flung everywhere.

Other times I've been told they can't separate out my child's food, and they can't put lettuce on first because both of those things are "against health code" which are bold faced lies because they just wanted to be lazy.

If you ever go there and there's 2 cars in line, you're looking at a 20 minute wait. It's honestly ridiculous at this point, and I'm just gonna drive to Brooks.

The same thing happened to the Wendy's across the street, and now it's a ghost town except for the people on road trips who don't know better.

Maybe corporate will get some new management in the place soon, cause otherwise we can always use a Chick Fil A...

I have mixed feelings about my last visit. When I arrived there were 4 cars in front of me so I thought it would move a little faster. I get the staffing issues they may be facing, but 20 minutes in the drive through is a bit much. If this was my only issue I wouldn't be writing this.

So, based on these pictures I was happy to have my lunch. It looked delicious, right? Wrong. The Taco shell was broken, which was ok, I was going to crunch it up in a bowl and have a taco bowl, no biggie. Almost 75% of the shell was soggy. If I wanted a soft taco I would have ordered one. 🤷 I threw the shell away and ate the rest of the taco toppings out of my bowl. This would have been a different review if these were the only two problem. My Nachos were soggy too! WTH? The meat and beans were also cold. I love cold (hot) toppings and soggy nacho chips.

Lastly, they forgot the sauces, napkins, etc...

They don't move very fast, they just mope a long like they have all the time in the world. The food was okay considering I went in it should have been really good. Since the pandemic these fast food restaurants, they don't move very fast. The faster you work the faster your day goes there's some food for thought! The dining room tables some of them was dirty and there was food and trash on the floor. The appearance of the workers, they looked rough. None of them had a decent appearance at all.

UPDATE: MANAGER CLEANED HOUSE! Employees were let go after reports of producing bad display of food items. Employees that doesn't care what the product looks like when it reaches paying customers will cost them their jobs if reported. I myself spoke with the MANAGER and she had not idea that it was going on, I even went as far as taking a picture and showing it to her, she was Shocked!.
