McDonald's — Restaurant in Sherwood

Well, this mcdonalds for me has always just been "there". If you want it, there it is. They always screw up orders and forget sauces. But tonight! I had to wait 5 minutes for my drinks! That may not seem like much, but the fact they had given me my food, then had me pull around and wait so they could bring me my 2 drinks. Of course, they didn't bring them out. I finally went inside when I saw all the other cars breeze past me with their drinks. Luckily, I checked my fries to see they should have been tossed before they got to me. I go inside and inform the surly gentleman inside I'm waiting for my drinks still. He seemed irritated at me for asking for the rest of my order. I, of course, also asked for my fries to be redone since they had died. This was also, apparently, the biggest insult to ask for fresh food. I made the mistake of trying to give him my dead fries to prove I'm not just trying to scam food. He kept exclaiming how he was absolutely not taking them and he did NOT want then and why would he want them? Even as I was throwing them away and agreeing he did not need to take them. Drinks arrived, slammed on the counter, maybe 2 ice cubes each. Fries were given also passive aggressively. I even said thank you and got zero response. I'm all for fast food workers getting paid a living wage. But this is basic not even doing your job. When you don't do your job, you don't deserve to get paid for your job.

I ordered 2 egg cheese biscuits. First, the person taking the order kept putting sausage egg cheese biscuit on the screen. I repeatedly kept telling them that I don't want sausage on it. Second, I go up to pay and I tell them to make sure there's no sausage because on the screen even though I kept telling them no sausage the order wasn't changed on board. So I pay we get up to get our food I'm asked to go park around the corner. I park around the corner for five minutes waiting for the food. They finally bring the food out, and I drive off. As I'm driving off I open up one of the egg and cheese biscuits and there's sausage on it. I park run inside, hand both the biscuits to one of the kids at the front counter. The kid takes the two biscuits back, then walks out and hands me two more. I look at them there's no sausage in them. I go out to my car and drive off. I go and take a bite out of one and there's sausage grease all over it. All they did was take on pull the sausage off and hand them back to me. If you don't want sausage on your biscuit, you sure don't want sausage grease all over the place. Of course I'm angry, but what makes me angrier is how uncaring and unintelligent the people working at the counter are and think I am. Really, did they think I wouldn't notice sausage grease all over the egg. I will never go back and eat there again. I usually don't eat that garbage anyway but my young daughter wanted some...

The only thing consistent about this store is its inconsistency, and that is pretty consistent at sucking. I went there, again, against my better judgment, waited in the drive through for 15 minutes while there was only 2 cars ahead of mine, and yes it still took 15 minutes. I get my food (for once, everything was there) then drive home (about 6 blocks distsnce)to find that my fries are not just cold ,but they are still slightly frozen in the center kind of cold, and the double 1/4 pounder was cool to the touch and dry as a hockey puck ( like it was microwaved kinda dry) with a spot of ketchup and mustard each about the size of a dime. So I call the number on the receipt and the phone rings and rings and rings. So I decide to see how long they would let it ring before answering. After 18 minutes of the phone ringing without an answer (during business hours ). The only reason I went there is that there is not many other choices that are better in Sherwood. But this is the absolute last time that I, or my family, as well as anyone else I can persuade to follow my lead, will go to that McDonalds. I will opt to drive to the neighboring towns to go to McDonalds before patronizing this particular establishment. I have given them a second chance, hell, I've given them 30+ second chances. They blew it EVERY time. So if they care this little about their customers, I will care less about them and will...
