I have never had so many negative interactions at a Red Robin before. I thought it'd be convenient for lunches, considering how close I am. However, that was a huge mistake on my part. Every single time I have purchased food at this location, I have either had half my orders missing items, dismissive employees, and just overall poorly executed rushed food. I have no problems with waiting, but waiting over 20 minutes for a curbside order that you placed 40 minutes ago and then having it be the wrong items is not fun. I tried to get a refund, however, dealing with the manager was no help. He was just giving me a blank stare, as I explained. I was waiting for an apology and a possible solution, but nothing. The manager says nothing and continues to stare at me. I tried to pull the burger container out of the bag to show him, trying to once again hoping to get a response or an apology however this is whay he said; "I'll take your name and issue a refund later, have a good night". WOW. I then asked if my order number or debit card was needed, but once again, I was dismissed. The "manager" snatches the ticket from me and walks to the back. I wait and wait and nothing was done. I ask to speak to a different manager or someone who could further help, I was laughed at told he was the only one on duty and in charge. I was then told no one could find him. I walked in to the restaurant and found him myself. I was then told he was trying to help me but I "threw" my burger at him. I further explained my situation to the other employee, but they were unable to process a refund either. I offered to take a gift card instead, to take cash, or to take the food I was already given but the manager was absolutely NO help insisting on the fact that he "was helping" and I was being "impatient". Once again, I don't mind the waiting, but there's a limit. Especially when you go to the supposed manager with a problem and they don't offer so much as an apology. I get it though, I was spending under $20, and "it's really busy".I...
Read moreOh, Red Robin, you've let me down. I eat here a lot, and almost always, it's good. This time, I actually left no tip due to the atrocious lack of service. It was a Saturday night, and the place was NOT busy. Seemed to be staffed well enough, though. We sat in the bar and the host seated us and got us menus. It took about 5 minutes before a server helped us. She took our full order and I forgot to tell her I wanted bacon on my burger. Next we were brought the free fries. When there were two fries left, our waters were finally delivered. I drank out of my own water bottle up to this point. I let the server know I'd like to add bacon to my burger. She said she would take care of it. Food gets delivered by another server, no bacon. I mentioned that there should be bacon. The girl frowned at her ticket and walked away. NO ONE checked in on us after this. At all. Needless to say, the bacon did not appear. I finally just ate my bacon-less burger and it was ok. Throughout the meal, the manager went around to every table in the bar except ours to ask people how they were doing. Skipped us completely, felt intentional. Other servers checked on their tables in the bar. OUR server checked on other tables in the bar. Finally, we used the device on the table to pay. The bacon had been added to the bill, but despite our efforts to flag down literally anyone who worked there, we were completely ignored. When we got tired of waiting, we decided that $2 for bacon wasn't worth sitting there any longer, so we paid and left. We did not tip. Not sure why I should have. I have worked as a server in a restaurant of this type. It's not a hard job. These folks excelled at being terrible at it. I think I'll wait for the inevitable staff turnover before visiting this location again. Absolutely...
Read moreUgh! Tried to take our nephew out to his 5 year birthday lunch yesterday... Went to red robin in sherwood at 1:40pm. Figured it wouldn't be crowded so we could take three kids and have a nice lunch. We were wrong!! Worst dining experience of my life!! After we were seated we waited over 20 minutes to order, then my kiddo spilled her drink, no one ever brought napkins even after we asked... Our food took over an hour to get to our table tho every single family that came in after us was served. We asked multiple times what was going on, our waitress just said it wasn't ready... Then when they brought our food it was all ice cold as if it had been sitting for an hour. (Still no napkins btw)... Then...it gets worse... Another waitress spilled ranch in my purse, just smiled and kept walking (no apology for spilling ranch in my purse) ... We asked for napkins again and we told our waitress our food was cold... So she went to have them re make it (another 30 minute wait) I still have ranch in my purse my daughter still has a spill on her table, still no napkins. They bring our food, it's warm now so we eat (still no napkins tho we asked again) THEN they tell my nephew they will bring him ice cream for his bday (another 30 minute wait) they never bring his ice cream we leave after waiting 30 minutes... But right before we leave they bring napkins. The restaurant was not crowded, there was no reason for such horrible service! Not to mention the bathrooms were disgusting, there was no soap or hand towels either... Moral of this story, we will never go back to that red robin & I recommend no one else go there either! Thank goodness they are building another one by i5... I will drive there...
