Had to share a review for this company. I know this is a small business and they truly went above and beyond to get us our food!
We ordered Uber eats because my whole family is sick. I called to confirm they made it and that it was just waiting to connect to a driver and they did confirm. I called back after another 10 minutes to let them know that we can't come get it ourselves because I didn't want to risk the health of anyone there, just to give them a heads up in case the food was still good for themselves or another customer.
Their response... "Where do you live and what's your address, we will deliver it to you. Your family needs to eat!" I insisted they didn't need to and that we could find another option at home, and again, but to no avail. She was determined.
5 minutes later, our food was delivered to our door with a text telling us to "get better".
What an INCREDIBLE company and staff. I've known it all along because I order there regularly, but this was so far out of their way and well above what I expect from a company in their industry, it just needed to be acknowledged here.
Thank you all...
Read moreI’m going to start by saying if I could give 0 stars, I would. My sister and I tried to enjoy lunch at this location one Monday afternoon and we were met by the owner berating us and being completely disrespectful. We started our order, racking up a total of almost $50 before deciding what to drink. We decided to have one soda (which was entirely overpriced as is) and one water cup. My sister and I had discussed sharing a soda and having water too when the owner started in on “how he needs to make money” and “he’s running a business so why would he ‘allow’ us to share a soda.” While looking us up and down as if to imply we’re going to drink the soda machine dry. I calmly replied that I chose to spend money at his establishment and I have the choice to share a drink or not. We were met with his cruel words and we decided not to have lunch there that day. As we were walking out he exclaimed “good luck finding somewhere to eat.” Funny how someone who’s “struggling” over soda would so rudely turn away an almost $50 ticket.. and maybe you should be nicer to paying customers...
Read moreDylan Short & Bree’s reviews are spot on! We used to come to Koba in Sherwood since it opened. The past few orders they have goofed and we kept giving them another try only to be goofed up again. Prices have gone up and portion much smaller. Price gouging at its finest. I get that inflation happens but this is beyond greedy. When ordering take away they don’t even add the soup so ya know they are being stingy. I ordered pad Thai and no substitution and the price on their board was different than what I was up charged of “0.44cents” just enough to not really noticed until I looked at my receipt. Food smelled a tad rank and not the fresh smell. Stupid thing was I had it to go and yet still gave 20% tip. I won’t be coming back nor will the rest of my fam. Do better Koba Grill! there are other places with better quality for the same price and while I supported you for many years especially during the pandemic years, you have lost this customer and my family as well as several others from...
