Overall great Mexican restaurant when it comes to staple food and fast food.

For starters, I am a huge critic of Mexican food. I fell in love with the chorizo taco they serve. I feel their food can be a little hotter. I kind of feel like they use the method of Chipotle to provide a timely turnaround which will sacrifice the temperature of the food as well as the flavor. Not quite the carne asada I am used to but i would come here hands on to get a burrito well done over some of the other trucks in town. Lomo con diesmillo or arrachera is where its at. I would pay more to go with that meat option.

I am not a fam of Chipotle nevertheless but i like their concept of fast burritos. This business does a good job with fast turnarounds but sacrifice the texture of their meats in the process.

I like that their burrito flour tortillas do not taste like cardboard or long term storage tortillas that are tough or chewy. Their corn street taco tortillas could use a little help but i also understand its tough to source tortillas around the PNW. Salsas are kind of watery but do sting a bit which is essential to salsas.

The restaurant is clean, kid and family friendly, their menus have clear pictures of what you can order and the service is very positive. Spanish and English spoken. They are very flexible with customization such as mentioning to make the meat dorada or crispier (tripa is really good dorada). Friendly staff.

5 stars for me would be to get a wow on the first bite. I smiled but i wasn’t wowed. Again, keeping in mind i have high expectations for non tex-mex mexican food, in my opinion this is a good fast mexican. Most fast mexican restaurants or trucks focus on the speed and not the quality. I think this business has a good future if they take feedback serious. I am definitely coming back and looking forward to better tacos...

When it comes to tacos, they know how to do it right! I, initially grew up in S Cali, and had friends from Mexico..So I'm no stranger to good Mexican food. Since moving to Washington I've been on a journey to find a good simple authentic street taco, after visiting many random taco trucks...I can firmly, and confidently say that they quite possibly do serve one of the best tacos in the state of Washington..I, highly recommend the Adobada (spicy pork) taco very flavorful! They don't skimp either where you get a solid 3 to 4 bites out of a taco everytime..Carne Asada tacos are also top on my list! Properly seasoned, and not bland, with a hint of carmelized onions, and would highly recommend..I, live in DT Bellevue but I'm more than happy to make that trip up north to visit them 3 to 4 times a week..Fully knowing that there's many taco trucks conveniently located in between them..Yes! They're that good! Give them a try! Also the workers are very pleasant, professional, and always happy to see you..What a hidden gem, and I'm honestly abit reluctant about leaving a review, as they are usually busy when I get there, but for great tacos..I'm more than happy to wait.They...

I went here yesterday with my boyfriend as we were craving Mexican food but wanting to try some where new. When we arrived the parking lot was full, assuming this meant they were good we were excited. When we went up to the window the cashier was absent as he was too working in the kitchen, that was okay; as my boyfriend and I didn't mind waiting since it was our first time and this gave us more time to look at the menu. When he came back to take our orders he had a very irritated demeanor, and nasty attitude for no reason. He seemed to be so frustrated with us for simply waiting for HIM at the window. After we ordered he didn't even offer to open our drinks which mind you aren't twist off's and a bottle opener is needed. We didn't end up drinking our drinks till we got home. When our food came, my boyfriend's chimichanga looked like a small burrito. Maybe they messed up or don't know how to make a chimichanga?? 🤷🏼‍♀️ And my burrito was absolutely tasteless. We could have maybe gotten over the mids quality of his food, but it was his rude behavior that really makes me want to NEVER come back. If I could give zero stars I would. I've never had someone treat me with such...

Their grand opening happened yesterday, July 28, 2023. As a born and raised Californian, I am so happy I finally found a legit Mexican restaurant! Out of curiosity, I asked more about the business and learned it's family-owned and run by a family from Jalisco. The place has such a fresh, clean and truly vibrant atmosphere that brought me back to childhood memories of my family's home in Mexico. Here's what we ordered: A carne asada burrito One mojarra fish plate (we subbed beans for extra rice) 5 carne asada tacos plate with beans and rice Chimichanga plate with beans and rice All but the burrito came with a small side of lettuce and a generous portion of guac. My teen who craved finding a great Mexican mojarra fish plate was a happy kiddo. He's one picky eater, so this was a win for us. The portions were generous but not so much it was wasteful. Drinks: They have horchata, agua de jamaica, and agua de tamarindo with free refills - very delicious! 10/10 will be going there again!

Nearly perfect Baja/Mexi-Cali food ported over from their excellent food truck. This is a lunch counter/fast food service sit down restaurant version of an excellent nearby food truck. Service is minimal, but friendly and the restaurant is clean and neat with a traditional street taqueria feel to the décor. The food was nearly perfect for the price point. We had birria, adobada, and carnitas and all were delicious. With bottomless horchata and tamarindo to drink, who can ask for more? They lose a star because I found a whole bay leaf inside my birria burrito. That's a dangerous bite right there. I think there was also potato hiding in the burrito leftover from the birria stew. That's an ingredient I wasn't expecting (and one which triggers an allergy for me). Mostly it's about the inedible bay leaf. Other than that, the food was great. We will definitely be back.
