I recently had a very unpleasant experience while ordering food from Poke Bros in Shorewood. Not only was the service subpar, but the behavior of one of the employees was absolutely unacceptable.
Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed one of the employees biting their nails and cleaning their fingernails. This was already a major red flag for me, as personal hygiene is of utmost importance when handling food. It made me question the overall cleanliness and sanitation standards of the establishment.
As I placed my order, I couldn't help but feel disgusted by the employee's lack of professionalism. It is highly unhygienic to bite nails and clean fingernails in a food preparation area. This behavior not only reflects poorly on the employee, but also on the restaurant as a whole.
I couldn't enjoy my meal knowing that it had been prepared by someone who displayed such poor personal hygiene habits.
I understand that mistakes can happen and employees may have off-days, but this level of negligence is simply unacceptable. As a customer, I expect a certain level of cleanliness and professionalism when dining out or ordering food, and this experience fell far below those expectations.
I strongly urge the restaurant management to address this issue and ensure that all employees adhere to proper hygiene practices. It is essential for the health and safety of the customers, as well as the reputation of the establishment.
In conclusion, my experience ordering food from this restaurant was extremely disappointing due to the employee's unhygienic behavior. I will not be returning and I would caution others to think twice before dining or ordering from this...
Read moreFor the third time in 2 weeks, this location closed early and we weren't able to get any food. I keep leaving work early and driving 20min out-of-the-way for dinner for our group. The first time, we were there 7min before close and they were cleaning up, even though the door was unlocked. The second time, I was there exactly 15min before close and though the door was unlocked, they were closing up again and weren't serving. Today, I was 19min early, and they still wouldn't serve me. A lady walked in a couple minutes before me and was trying to get them to serve her - we both left together. We went next door to Noodles and Company to buy food. Six people came in just after us in the same situation, complain that Poke Brothers was closed and ordered food. Each time, I was purchasing for 6 people, so they've missed 18 meals for our group alone. Today, they lost at least 13 meal sales from the people that came into N&C (I'm not sure they were just ordering for themselves). What the heck?! If you close at 8:30, then don't put 9pm on your door, menu, website, Google, or anything pertinent. The employees literally laughed in our faces as we walked out. Disgusting and poor, poor taste for a business. We will be cross-posting across all social...
Read moreI pass by this place all the time on my way home 🚗..finally decided to pop in! All the fresh ingredients stimulated my senses as I approached the counter. They had a lot of options for Poke Bowls 🍜. I kinda had to do the "ini-mini-mini-mo" ordeal to make a selection 🤣 But hey, I picked a good one. I got the HIGH TIDE. Had pineapple in it 🍍 The prices were reasonable. The poke bowl was really good. I felt like it coulda had a bit more protein tho. It's like, dang, can a brotha get a couple extra chunks of yard bird 🐔 and some extra slivers of shrimp 🦐? . .it was definitely lacking in the surf n turf department. But all in all it was perdy darn delicious 🤤. Maybe I'll ask for double meat next time 🤔 Will there even be a next time? 🤔 ...I say, YES!! 👍👍👍 I'll be back. 😎 Oh, almost forgot to add, they offer rewards points, which I signed up for at the register. 🤑 Might even try one of their many selections of smoothies or mochi they have to...
