Aliberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Show Low

Food terrible. Ordered a chimichangas, shredded beef... it was mostly beans!! Even their water had a bad, strange taste! Like it had been used for something else first... was yuck! Could hardly get to restroom there and was no soap in bathroom! Dirty, cramped... but got feeling that girl who waited on me was really trying. She was the very polite. But food was awful, and I felt sick not long after eating there... I'm sorry but I'll never, ever go back! And also the table outside was falling apart. Owners need to redo it, big time!!! And basically got a fried bean burrito instead of chimichangas! Get the feeling that owners take no pride and are running it into the ground. Lastly, there were a bunch of junkies that wondered over from that cheap nasty motel just behind the restaurant... just awful experience... and it still cost as much or more than other Mexican food restaurants. Sorry, but it's the truth. I felt sorry for the girl that...

My family and I used to frequently eat at Filiberto's, Roliberto's, And Aliberto's. Back in the 90's and early 2000's when we lived in Peoria and Glendale Arizona.

It was my first time in over 15 years to visit one of these fast food Mexican restaurants. My chicken burrito was almost the same size as I remember it was back all those years ago. My in-laws ordered the pulled pork dinner. They said they liked it. And the portions were very good.

We ordered late on Wednesday evening I believe it was around 9. It was the first time my in-laws had been there to this place, but they said when my wife had visited, and they had to pick her up in Phoenix. Cynthia treated them to dinner at one of these places down in the Phoenix metro area.

I believe that the location and the older structure where Aliberto's is located in Show Low Arizona on US 60 just past the intersection of 260 and 60. Here in Show Low, us 60 is called...

Cute older building, but that was the best part sadly. I ordered carne asada fries, my husband ordered a green chili burrito. It took a very long time to get our food (30+ minutes) even though, with drive threw included, it was not all that busy. Apparently the delay was the burrito because when the order was ready they pulled my food out of the warmer (it had been in there 15 + minutes just didn't know it was mine). When we got the food the burrito was extremely spicy and my food had two items, I had asked for on the side, on the food. Unfortunately, I had to send mine back to be remade and was then unable to eat most of it as we had to get back to work. Very disappointed as we enjoy another location a lot, and had high hopes.
