Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Shreveport

I never really had a bad experience 😕 with this location until Nov 2022. I arrived before 8pm I requested two items one was a chicken sandwich. I was told they were out of that and the other item I don't recall what that was. I decided to stay away for awhile. On Monday, March 27, 2023 I wanted some fried chicken 🍗. Went inside as the drive through had several cars 🚗 waiting. Going inside didn't help me obtain any faster service. As I stood in line no one greeted us it was as if we were invisible to them. Even one of the cashiers walked 🚶🏾‍♀️ in between another customer and myself not saying excuse me as she headed toward the soda station to refill her drink. Another customer whom I chatted with offered 🫴🏽 me a coupon for a meal I planned to order. The male rude order taker said next so loudly which was unnecessary I am not deaf. He asked for the coupon code. I headed it to him as I wear 👓 glasses but the print was small. He asked what drink I wanted then says nevermind you can get that yourself with the total amount due. I said I have another order to make he sharply replied you didn't say you had something else to order. I replied back to test me young man. He was probably around 19-21. When I asked for a shrimp 🍤 tackle box his manager was seating in the dining area. He asked her about this item and said we are out if that. I said then I don't want to place an order. He handed me the coupon that I graciously gave back to the customer behind me. I am done with this location. I won't shed a tear if this location is shut down / closed for good. I one star 🌟 is too generous...

Absolute worst management and customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I never leave 1 star reviews bc I prefer to not go out of my way to bring a place down. I don’t want anyone to fail. I made an online order to speed things up bc I am on the road. I ordered at 2:50 (receipts in review). At 3:37 once I finally went inside to figure out where my food was I was told they was out of biscuits. (Mind you, there had been 6-7 cars behind me that received food, and likely 15-20 inside). So at 3:37 I was told we was out of biscuits. I immediately said that I will take my order without biscuits bc I’m hungry and in a hurry. (I would have just left after 15 minutes if I hadn’t prepaid online). The girl said okay and then I see her doing everything but putting my order together. So at 3:42, I said, I said that I will take my order without biscuits. Then she said they was out of chicken. At 3:43 I walked out with no food or any part of my order. I talked to mangers she told me the reimbursement was out of their hands. So now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to get my money back. My biggest complain is the lack of communication. If someone would have told me what they didn’t have, this could have been fixed much quicker. Manager was sitting at a table during a very busy stressful time. I didn’t raise my voice or become irate but that’s ridiculous she wasn’t up there talking all the other upset patrons off the edge....

We were heading back to Dallas and stopped in to pick up some delicious popeyes for our last leg home. We'll, we got a different experience than ALL OF the TV commercials. When I pulled up to the speaker to order I was told to hold on. It was a VERRRRRRRY long hold like 3-4 minutes. We weren't in a hurry so not a real big deal. We wanted to get the 3 piecs strip meals but was informed that they were all frozen so they weren't available. Soooo I ordered a sandwich for my wife and I got the tackle box which looked delicious on the commercials. We also order two unsweet teas. We pulled around and waited again. We then paid and was asked to pull up and waited again. The order came out a few minutes later with the meals but no drinks. The lady looked a little miffed but went back in and got our teas. In the meantime my wife noticed that we didn't have on utensils as we had mashed potatoes in our order. So when the lady came with our teas she had to go back in and get us utensils. Needless to say this was a long process. We get driving down the highway and my wife opened my tackle box and it was AWEFUL. My wife's meal was good. Do not go to this Popeyes ever! I hope this location does not represent the rest of the restaurant of this chain. It is a shame as this was in Lousiana which is what Popeyes is about. Oh, as a side note the red beans and rice need a new recipe to claim it is...
