If there was a way to give a quarter of a star that would be their rating they definitely don’t deserve not a star…. I was given uncooked food after asking for deep fried oysters- whatever that batter is that they put on them was not cooked properly indefinitely was not the correct internal temperature When I called back, the lady who was there remembered my name, and told me I could come back and get more food after hanging out with her I thought I would finish some of the shrimp and leave And leave the oysters to return however, after tasting two of those, I felt sick, then threw up🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ When I went there the next day to return the food, I did not want to walk in and speak about my experience in front of their other customers, so I called from outside I guess the lady was not available. The one who answered, said that she can’t give a refund got the same story the next day when I finally went in the following day, she told me again she couldn’t give a refund when I asked where was the manager or owner? She points out the guy in the back trying to stop the roof from leaking he didn’t come up to address me but they wanted me to go back there where he was so I did. He wants to explain to me that there were two shrimp missing. I told him that yes I did eat two shrimp. However, I wanted a refund I had bought a slice of pie which I had taken a bite out of. He told me he wasn’t returning the pie when he told her to give my refund he told her to give me a refund for the price of my order no tax, when I asked about the taxes he told her to give me another dollar I did not know that $21.99+ tax was $24.11 Not to be confrontational, I took the credit that he gave me, but I will never ever go here. I recommend that if you do you make sure to ask for well done food. Horrible...
Read moreFirst off I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel it is very necessary at this point. We’ve been eating at the Sams Eatery off of Pines Road on Greenwood Road for many years & we’ve bragged & considered this restaurant whenever everything else fails our go to whenever we’re in Shreveport/Bossier area. But this particular night we was highly disappointed in so many ways. We was sat a dirty table when we arrived, the fried food tasted like it was cooked in old grease, the floor was filthy, & a chicken salad was ordered in which we thought was the best at once upon a time but this one was horrible. The chicken must’ve been spoiled or something because my friend became very sick after eating some of it. She was up all night & still trying to recover today. She’s afraid to eat anything else because it made her that sick. I reached out to the manager & never once did I hear sorry to hear this happened or is anything We can do. All I heard was we’ve been serving the same salad & nobody else have complained. With me bringing a matter being to that extreme with customer being sick with a complaint in my restaurant it seems to me that it should have been handled better. She got my name & number & was told the owner will give me a call. It’s been a couple of days now & I haven’t heard from the owner or anyone. The feeling I received was that the manager didn’t take my name or number down & if she did it was threw to the side & never thought about again. All & all customer service, management & the food was terrible. I really hope this review helps someone out by not expecting...
Read moreLots of food for your money. Wait staff is slow. But, the foods comes out fast. Good food. Atmosphere is cool. I go there every time I'm in Shreveport. Updated review. I've never had an issue, until tonight. My food came out cold. Not a big deal, I thought. But, it was. The ladies gave me so much trouble, just to get some hot food. They acted like I cooked and brought out the food. I only asked them for hot shrimp, fries and hushpuppies. The fish and beans were tolerable. I felt insulted. They made me pull the cold items from my plate, and sit them on another plate. The returned, way later, with fresh fries. But, the same shrimp, which washout, but like rubber. I addressed the issue about the rubbery shrimp. The lady, wearing the mask, said that there was nothing that she could do. I asked her to take them off the bill, since I didn't bother three out if the four shrimp. She gad me to put the shrimp on a napkin and walked off with them, with an attitude. Twenty minutes later, still no sign of the woman or the shrimp. They finally brought the shrimp out, in a small container. I just took it and left. I passed several seafood restaurants to come here. As I always do. Never had a problem. I sure didn't think I would be treated this way, when I did. It was a horrible experience! Food was good though. ...
