I stopped eating at Wendy's a while back due to unpleasant service and what seems to be staff incompetence on a regular basis. Anyway, last night, I figured I'd make the effort to try again. With so many options in the area, I could and should have kept going. We live, and we learn. This took place at store 3386 @ abt 9:45 pm. When I pulled up at the drive- thru speaker board, there was 1 car in front of me, and it was waiting at the window for an order. I sat waiting approximately 4 minutes for someone to acknowledge I'm waiting, nothing. Finally, I say "hello," and you could hear the aggravation in the respondents' voice, as if I'm interrupting her. As I'm attempting to place my order, each time I tell her the item I want, she attempts to tell me to proceed to the window. After 3 times of that, it's "is that it?" Upon giving her the last item, I informed her that was all. She gives me the total and tells me to pull the window. When I get to the window, a gentleman walks over and asks me what kind of burger I ordered. You would think that would have been the order takers duty to confirm that. If I had to rate her active listening skills on a scale of 1-5, she gets a negative 2. The order taker entered the burger request in as a combo and the wrong one at that. When I ordered my chili, I asked to make sure the onions were diced, she tells me the onions are sliced. At this point I inform here that I've spoken to several managers regarding this issue and they are to be diced. It's frustrating grabbing a chili for lunch, getting back to my desk, and trying to eat my chili with the huge slices of onions in it. Which is one of the reasons I initially stopped eating at Wendy's. Being that it is so much of a hassle to get a correct order and good service, it's best to just take my money elsewhere. Anyway, I have to ask for napkins and a straw. Because I didn't check my order before leaving the window, half way down the street while stopped, I check my bags....no condiments as requested and no extra pecans and pomegranate dressing for my salad as requested. I turn around to go back and it's 4 minutes til 10 by my clock. The doors are locked and I have to go back through the drive thru. One of the young men working another area came to assist me being that the cashier looked too busy (doing nothing). I get to the house, the salad was great, grand babies satisfied with the nuggets and burger, even my chili was good (I really appreciate the DICED onions). Fries were gross, no salt, very dry, barely warm. Didn't taste fresh. It's the crappy customer service, lack of consistency, and frustration I have to go through that deters me from spending my money at Wendy's and after going from eating there almost everyday to rarely eating there, I won't be going anymore at all. There are plenty of places that actually give a d... about how their customers view things and take the necessary steps to ensure that employees are in compliance without the need for micromanaging and the drive-thru attendant NEEDS to be on a line, NOT interacting with customers until she's completed customer service...
Read moreHonestly one of the worst expierences I've ever had. The food was actually very well cooked and was fresh, and that's when the good ends. After my meal, I wanted to order the cold foam chocolate coffee. Cashier said they were out of cold foam. I asked for the cold brew, they said they were out of vanilla (which I'm not sure what that has to do with it considering I wanted chocolate) and they didn't have the cream but they offered creamer packets (gross). When I brought it up to the manager (starting off with complimenting the food, speaking very respectfully) that it was frustrating, (mind you, I was not asking for a refund or for him to do anything) he began to argue with me and tell me I was wrong and that they weren't out of anything, they were simply cleaning. The floor was incredibly sticky and dingey, the Dr pepper was out, and all in all just an overall bad expierence. Shout out to the kitchen staff working under this manager, who was trash talking across the restaurant for the majority of the time we were there. Of course I can't make a formal complaint to the franchise because the cashier never gave me a receipt. Not that it's gonna change anything, but we won't...
Read moreLOL! First and only time coming to this Wendy's drive-thru was a poor experience. I asked for the new Classic Chicken Bacon Pub Pretzel Sandwich and asked for no onions (because the sign states that it has crispy onions) and the woman taking our order said it doesn't come with onions. I unwrap my sandwich and what do I find? Not-so-crispy onions on it. By the way, it's totally not worth that price; $5 max for the combo is more like it. The fries we got tasted like they forgot to add salt. And they need to rename their "small" drink to "mini", because that's maybe 3 gulps worth. Our order also included 2 Frosties and Baconator Fries and we were not given straws or plastic ware of any kind, but luckily we have plenty of spares in the car. You'd think some menu items would automatically come with a spoon or straw when ordering through the drive-thru, but apparently this world has lost most of the...
