Where to begin. Two months ago my family went to the Shrewsbury location. We ordered through the app and it took an hour and a 45 mins to be delievered. Once we got the meals ( 2 kids ) cheese quesadillas with juice box and cookies. Instead we got beans filled quesadillas no juice boxes and no cookies. My wife ordered a chicken bowl, but the bowl had no chicken. As for the queso cheese please see the picture. That’s disgusting. Now keep in mind this was the fourth time I had issues with this place messing up orders. So after paying all the fees for delivery and wasting my time I had to drive to the location to demand a refund . The staff couldn’t do anything on site. After much debate I was able to get the managers phone number to explain the mess ups. Jonkeey . Keep that name in mind she’s an owner/manager. I ended up having to call her every day for a week to get my money back . Eventually she got tired of my calls and did the right thing. Skip forward two month we now go to the westborough location. Different place different staff I assumed. We order online again through the moes app. 2 hours and 15 mins later it’s delivered. Same issue! Beans in the kids quesadillas, and instead of my wife getting her usual order they just made two of my burritos instead. So now I go to this location they try to remake it which I didn’t want it was already way past dinner time. I asked to speak with the manager and they went out back to call and said I couldn’t speak to them. I said I think I know who that person is, Jonkeey right?! Both employees were dumbfounded. I called Jonkeey and she was surprised to hear it was me with YET MORE ISSUES! This time instead of playing games she issued the credit over the phone and I was handed a small receipt. Furious I walked out and wait two weeks. Still no refund in my Bank. When called she ignored my Calls and said take it up with the bank. Theft at its finest. I would not recommend this place or the westborough location at all. Staff cannot follow directions or take orders. Horrible delivery times. I’ll be reaching out to...
Read moreWe stopped in here instead of Chipotle which is actually a bit closer to our house. Usually like the portions, I visit the one at the end of Main Street where Safford st. begins regularly.
The woman at the counter wouldn’t even look at me when I came in and after about 40 seconds of me, standing there, walking back-and-forth headed down to her. She just looked up to me and pointed to the other end of the counter.
The general vibe I got from her was she didn’t want to be there and possibly was being forced to work there. No smile throughout the whole interaction, more so a scowl.
I asked if I could have my burrito put on the grill and no response, I repeated the question and still no response so I figured I would wait it out. I told her how I love it when I get the burrito put on the grill or in the press, No response. When she finished wrapping the burrito, she turned around and put it on the grill and I said thank you so much, I really appreciate that and paused….. (dead silence).
At the very end of finishing the burritos, I said thank you very much, she looked down at the other worker now at the cash register and said they’re on the grill and named what they were and then looked at the next customers and walked away from me.
The cashier I would describe as completely neutral, neither happy angry, simply existing. Not the kind of experience I want to go through when I end up spending 40 something dollars on burritos and some drinks. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere next time.
Also, heads up to this location. The lettuce shouldnt be brown. I did call the hotline and they sounded disinterested at my experience.
I am just leaving this up here so anyone else can be spared. Spend a few dollars extra and call one of the real restaurants in the area, especially if you’re going to spend this sort of money.
(About two weeks have gone by and Moe’s has not contacted me). Suggest everyone checks out all the other great Mexican places...
Read moreAs i walked into this moes all the workers were silent and looked dumbfounded by my entrance. There was no “welcome to moes!” that was the first warning sign next i asked for a burrito they proceeded to give me a regular large size tortilla bread but then write J for junior instead of H for home wrecker like they would normally at any other moes. when they were putting the ingredients inside of the burrito they put them all in a little circle in the middle of the LARGE tortilla bread. Not to mention how uncomfortably slow the coworker was going i felt like i was in the scene in zootopia with the sloths. Then, and this the worst part, this woman had no idea how to fold a burrito. she continued to fold in the sides until it did not look like a burrito and then gave it a little fold. I just don’t understand how someone could look at that and say, “ this is a burrito and i’m going to make someone pay for it.” Then we get to check out, and the lady did not know how to read the letters on the foil, and asked us all the ingredients we put in it. This is unusual and uncomfortable. We then proceed to sit down, the tables are clean though at least. i cant even get to any of the stuff inside of the burrito because there was so much bread covering it. I then left, completely dissatisfied. But looking back there was now a line all the way to the door. I honestly just felt bad because i don’t think these people know what they’re in for. I feel even worse for the woman folding the burritos because she obviously wasn’t trained correctly and clearly no one there was. In conclusion, the customer service is lacking and they definitely do not know how to make a burrito. It was clean though, and the salsa was tasty. If you ever want to go to moes though definitely go to the one in worcester where they know how to make a burrito and...
