This place is literally the worst. Between the owner and corporate, they are idiots and their practices are not even legal. First of all, their menu on DoorDash does not reflect what they actually carry in the store. They will push your order through on DoorDash, even though they are knowingly out of the specific items requested and donāt even stock those items anymore. Particularly the soups. Upon my Dasherās arrival to the store, he was informed that they were out of the two soups that I ordered and offered me two additional choices. I asked what was in the potato soup as it was not listed on their DoorDash menu and he said the employee could not tell him because they didnāt know. First red flag as itās state law requirement that you provide ingredients to your customers if they ask. I then called the store to verify that was correct and indeed the employee and manager both confirmed that they did not have the ingredients for the potato soup. Nor could they figure out how to refund me for one of the soups if I chose one of their options. It was so ridiculous and I felt so bad for the Dasher just standing there while I went back-and-forth with them over the phone. They admitted that between the owner and corporate, nobody has updated the menus And they continue to get various complaints about the situation. I will be forwarding this complaint to the health department, and maybe that will light a fire under them to actually do what the law requires instead of being lazy, and having shoddy business practices....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never had a problem with this restaurant until tonight!! WARNING WARNING Do not order from this location during late evenings or near closing hours. The majority of times I have ordered the Fiesta Chicken on sourdough along with the grill chicken pieces. On this particular evening, 27 May 2019 o/a 8:45 PM, I ordered the usual via the drive-thru with great customer service and satisfaction. I drove home and became comfortable in front of my television and began to partake of my ordered sandwich. Upon discovery after several small bites I noticed that the chicken pieces tasted different. I pulled the sandwich apart to take a closer look. Upon discovery I noticed that the chicken pieces was not thoroughly cooked and the texture was hard in areas. So, I re wrapped the remaining sandwich and drove back to the restaurant. At this time the restaurant had closed but I got the night manager's attention via the drive-thru window. I began to explained reference the grill chicken pieces. Before I could convey my thoughts the night manager became defensive reference to cook foods. Her listening skills was shortened with no empathy for the consumer. After I raised my decimals in order to get her attention she then asked if I wanted my money back. Now I know that we live in an imperfect world along with human and mechanical errors. This is a perfect example ref a imperfect sandwich and unskilled night manager (Taylor). She gave me my money back and upon request she did conveyed both the morning manager's and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been coming to this Schlotzskyās for well over 10 years - far before the remodel.
While I used to be a fan, I have to reluctantly say that this establishment has fallen far behind other Schlotzskyās establishments and what this restaurant used to be.
Food quality has fallen significantly in the past few months, as well as service. It seems that there is absolutely no employee retention, every time we visit there is a brand new set of faces. The service is mediocre at best and sad at worst. I walked in and waited in an empty restaurant for 10 minutes without as much as an employee saying a word to me. There was one car in the drive through, and two of the four employees were making small talk while staring at me and the person in the car. Needless to say I went someplace else.
I will share another recent experience. I ordered a featured menu item (one of the most popular) and waited half an hour for the crew to make my sandwich ā I cannot blame them though, because they looked as though they had absolutely no prior training. They didnāt understand how the cooking machinery worked or even how to communicate with each other properly.
In short, whoever is running this establishment needs to level up their game. I am quite disappointed with the service iāve had in recent time, and seeing how the employees arenāt trained properly leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Whether it be hiring shortages or something else, I would be cautious when dining in, and accepting with wrong orders when...
