I haven't tried their food. This review is on the customer service of this establishment. I spoke with a man on the phone and told him I wanted to order a pizza for delivery. I had already pulled up their menu online before I called in to place my order, and I had it up while I ordered. I prepared the questions I had about pricing before I called in. I'm not from here so it took me a second to flip from the menu and back again to the address of this airbnb, but I'm computer savvy so the process was still pretty quick. I ask the man what the price would be for a pepperoni, tomato spinach, mushroom pizza since he told me I couldn't alter the topping on the deluxe pizza. Right now when you click menu on their website it has a pizza section not listing the toppings individually, and only showing the deluxe pizza prices. The page showing the deluxe pizza prices was listed twice on the menu. Anyway, the man tells me : "Look up the menu. Do I need to send you the menu ?" I explain to him that I'm already looking at the menu and that the topping aren't listed. I ask him where on the menu are the toppings listed? He says he's not dealing with this and hung up the phone. I call back and a lady answers and when I asked to place my order with a manager she informs me that I had spoke to the owner of the establishment on my previous call. I've never experienced customer service this horrible in my 29 years of life. I'd hate for someone as rude and harsh as the owner of this establishment to put a damper on your family vacation. As for the owner, maybe fix your online menu so you dont have to be bothered by customer inquiries.. You really shouldn't be taking orders at all with the attitude you have. I've attached the repeated portion of the menu below.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a delightful meal here in May 2024. You order at the counter, and carry your drinks and silverware (plastic) back to the table. There appeared to be only 3 people working, but they were efficient. The Caesar salads were some of the best we’ve had, with homemade croutons. We all got different types of pasta, all delicious. Food was piping hot. Dining room had 2 tables for 4, about 4-5 tables for 2. Probably because the ovens were right out front by the dining room, it was very warm inside. Wasn’t sure how much to tip, we ordered ourselves, and carried our own drinks, but they brought us the food. Highly recommend, delicious, home-cooked, food, affordable.

I had several different choices to pick from down in that area there but I picked Sal's and the reason why is because of the name it's been around for a long time so I figured I'd try it out it was awesome it was great the atmosphere was awesome the price for excellent too. I would definitely go back I'm going back for the Stromboli but definitely for the atmosphere and the people who own it also I definitely recommend stopping by I'm trying the food out it's really good, I had the jalapeno poppers and the Philly cheesesteak

I used to go to Sal’s 3 -4 years ago. At the time it could’ve used a total renovation of the restaurant area. Shopworn, rundown and unattractive. But that aside I went because the food was pretty good. Had a lot of nice pasta dishes. my friend would always order the calzone. I went in the other night with a different friend and either my tastes have changed or somethings wrong. It still needs a renovation. It’s still uninviting uncomfortable. There is nothing as far as cable service. You have to get to the counter and get napkins, menus whatever and even hand, you a lot of the food and drinks across the counter. So they have a menu. I wanted the white clams and linguine. I was told we only have red clams sauce. That to me doesn’t make sense. so I said I’ll take the red and that’s fine. Once it was presented, I never saw a restaurant that cut their linguine in half and then cook it that to me is a sacrilege. Obviously the person who is cooking doesn’t know how to cook. And the red flags keep coming once I tasted it it really wasn’t what I wanted but I hate as much as I could anyway and took most of it and a take out but the next day I threw it away. For me two beers ($4.00) and a plate of linguine with red clams (15.95) was way too much money. With a $5 tip. $25.00. It looks like it’s going to be another four or five years before I even try it again if they’re still in business. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this establishment. Sorry I got to keep on trying though keep the...

Ricos is much more delicious and more honest from my experience. Toppings were scarce- obvious they are worried about the bottom line.. every business needs to generate revenue, but staff doesn't seem involved- or care. Staff seemed very frustrated that customers came in. Like we we were interrupting thier conversation or something. Tried to charge a dollar for ranch.. Sal may need to get a new business model- prob going out of business soon. TerrobTe atmosphere, rude folks working, and sub par NY style pizza.

Tried to come in on Superbowl sunday- hour before kick off. Sign said open and tried to open. The door, it was locked. Made eye contact with the chefs, but my mom and I were ignored to be informed on what is going on. Maybe they were busy but who knows! Those gentlemen inside ignored our existance.

Sal was present but did not want to engage in any conversation- which is his choice. But geez, we were the only customers and zero phone calls during our visit.

Thought this situation was handled very weak as we were the only customers in the restaurant. Pizza was also average. After everything they still charge for ranch. Looking for a pizza joint, Id go to Rico's- their wings were phenomenal and the staff is...
