First of all, I know that we are in a pandemic and usually I have more patience, understanding and overall appreciation for essential workers. However, the 2 employees that I dealt with tonight at this location were rude. I placed a mobile order so that I can pick up curbside and avoid exposure and contact with strangers. I always double check my order before leaving because I placed a large order. I ordered 80 chicken nuggets, 4 large fries, 2 McRibs, 1 Filet-O-Fish and a small coffee. The employee that brought out the food brought 1 plastic bag that had 2 paper bags inside. I checked the order and noticed that I was missing 40 chicken nuggets. So I had to go inside to ask for the missing food. There was a long line of people waiting to order, plus another line of people waiting to pick up food. I don't like cutting in line, but McDonald's food only taste good hot/ warm. So I asked the 1st person in line waiting to get food if it's alright if I ask for my missing food. I didn't just cut in front without asking first. The Manager looked up and me and said, "can I help you?" Then I proceeded to say that I placed a mobile order for curbside pickup but noticed that I was missing almost half of my food. I even brought in the bag of food and tried to show him the food that I did receive and he cut me off and said, "there's no point of you bringing in the bag of food, for all I know you could've taken out the stuff that you said is missing and left it in your car" and then the cashier/ employee that brought the food out to my car added by saying, "I mean, there are 2 bags in there, I'm just saying!" Then I told them that there's no way the another 40 pieces of chicken nuggets would even fit in this bag. How could I have taken it out and why would I leave it in my car. The whole reason for curbside pickup and Mobile order is so that I don't have to go inside. Needless to say, most other restaurants (regardless if it's fast food or take out) most managers would've apologized and fixed the order. Instead, I was accused of leaving food in my car and trying to ask for more, when in reality, I just wanted the food that I paid for. It's not like I was only missing 1 sandwich. I was missing 40 chicken nuggets which I ordered for my kids. On a side note, part of my McRib sandwich was missing a part of the bread and almost looked like it had a bite taken out of it. This very long review is to warn others of my experience. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else, and I really hope that karma helps these 2 rude employees to handle things differently if the situation should...
Read moreMan, there wasn't really good communication with the person that took my order, almost like they don't review your order for you to make sure it's right. I ordered a mango pineapple smoothie and they gave me a strawberry banana,....really they don't even sound the same. And I ordered a larger fries with my meal and they charged me for a side of large fries. Little things like that could be avoided if they would just review your order at the window. SMH. And when I told them at the second window they refunded my money for the larger fries and then handed me my bag of food, and I just knew something would be wrong with the fries ,so I checked and sure enough they had a large fries container but it was only filled up half ways and the girl that handed me the bag walked away real quick like she knew, like if I'm not gonna check my bag. I called her back and pulled the fries out and asked "is this a larger fries"? She rolled her eyes and stuck her hand out like (give me the fries I'll fill them up). 🤦♂️🤷♂️ Shoot man it's bad enough the food is expensive but you gonna try and sandbag me on my fries. When i approached a managet to ask if my order can be taken, She and another employee raised their voices and told me........Can you see we are talking? I said...What did you say? Excuse us we are talking about getting our overtime pay! I said, EXUSE ME......How do you think this new remodel, and your saleries are paid for? The manager says.... My Boss pays for it! I replied, Little do you know, the customers make that possible.
