So it's been about 19 years since I've last been here, now being back in Washington for a short visit, I went back with my mom and my fiance, just for nostalgias sake. It's changed alot since the last time I was here with both of my parents. The Asian style buffet is still as I remember, but... to me, the food was okay. Filling at best. But we came here just for the nostalgia. If you're looking for a buffet styled place, this is your obvious go to, it seems like they're pretty popular, but who wouldn't enjoy a good plate of Asian food? But again, I leave it all to personal preference. And this was just a good nostalgic trip down memory lane. Don't let my opinion stop you from trying a food place like this, especially if you're looking for just a buffet to eat at. They're quite good. But my opinion still differs having come from The Hawaiian Islands where we're spoiled with rich Asian foods on a daily. Lol. Please. Try kings wok buffet and judge it for yourself with your own preferences. :)

I've been a customer since before the renovations - this place still has that unique flavor and atmosphere I remember as a kid. I was wondering though, with the ample amount of plastic and styrofoam dishes/utensils, if their dishwasher is broken or something? I can't imagine the amount of trash that all produces, but it is what it is. I came for good food, and found that it's still here! Their chicken on a stick and fried shrimp were the highlights at the table, as opposed to the sushi; my husband said the sushi was 'okay'. Everything else we tried was good! I'm grateful for their variety, cleanliness, (there arn't any flies around the food), and grateful nothing was overly salty and dry. Everytime I'm in the area I remember eating here as a kid. I used to love this place as a kid for their sugar bread and ice cream. Today, I love it for their chicken on a stick and fried shrimp. I look forward to returning next time I'm up here in Washington.

This is the first Chinese AYCE Buffet we’ve ever tried in this area. I don’t think there is any other similar one closeby. Coming from the land of world-class international Buffet Hub in Las Vegas, I give this place a good recommendation. We came in for dinner on the eve of Christmas. I was really hoping I get to taste some crab legs but they did not have it that night. No biggie, I had two plates full of variety. (see pics) They have a live Cook that you can have him make you some Mongolian Beef plate if you wish. They served fresh oysters as well. Drinks are all you can drink too. There’s even 2 flavors of fruity slushy. I think its apple and orange flavor. They’ve got coffee and teas aside from fountain sodas. The best other thing is their branded ice cream! Tons of varied flavors. Just ask the Staff to give you a scoop or however much you want! Price is about $15 per person. They offer a small discount for military and senior citizens.

Review: Avoid This Buffet Like the Plague

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Kings Wok Buffet, and let me tell you, this was the worst dining experience of my life. If you value your health and your taste buds, steer clear of this place!

First off, the food looked like it had been sitting out since last week. The fried rice was a sad, clumpy mess with more grease than a fast-food fryer. The lo mein was suspiciously cold in the center, and the so-called "octopus" in the tasted more like a rubber eraser than a cephalopoda. Every bite felt like a dare with the Food Poisoning God's.

But that wasn't even the worst part. The state of the buffet area was absolutely appalling. There were bits of old food crusted onto the trays and sneeze guards that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages.

The staff? Nice, but seemingly uninterested in maintaining any semblance of hygiene. It was clear that food safety was not a priority here.

Sure enough, a few hours after leaving this culinary disaster, myself and my husband were hit with the worst stomach pains we've ever experienced. I won't go into the gruesome details, but let's just say I was convinced I had contracted some sort of exotic disease on par with a face hugger infeststion.

Additionally, the "atmosphere": which we coincidentally sat right next to at the thermostat, was found to be set at 75, with cooling at 78. Why in the sweat fancy Moses would this be? Potentially to sweat out any contacted pathogens? I deighn to think it is to stop folks from eating too much swill and keep the bottom line tight.

In short, this buffet is a health hazard masquerading as a restaurant. Unless you're looking to test your immune system's limits via militant hormesis, avoid kings Wok buffet at all costs. You're better off eating a week-old takeout from your fridge than risking your health at this sorry excuse for...

Let me be very clear: DO NOT eat at King’s Wok Buffet in Silverdale, Washington. This was not just the worst restaurant experience of my life — it was a complete nightmare.

I came here with my family of ten. We each had only a few bites of food and within minutes, all of us were hit with sudden, violent food poisoning. It was a literal stampede to the bathroom. We were fighting over stalls. Explosive diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain — all before we even made it out the door. This food was either contaminated, expired, or handled in the most disgusting way possible. I wouldn’t feed this to an animal.

But that’s not even the worst part.

The blatant racism we experienced was absolutely appalling. I said “thank you” politely to one of the staff members when they picked up my plate — and I was flat-out ignored. I repeated myself three more times and was met with silence and hostile glares. My entire family felt the tension. We were treated like we didn’t belong. We were targeted, disrespected, and made to feel incredibly unwelcome.

This wasn’t just a bad meal. This was trauma. I left this place sick to my stomach and sick in my heart. I have never felt so humiliated, so uncomfortable, and so physically ill from a restaurant in my life. I honestly feel like I’ll need therapy to get over it.

ZERO stars. This place should be shut down, investigated, and reported. Nobody should ever be treated or served the...

Outstanding Array of Asian Culinary Masterpieces!!

This was my first time here. I was highly impressed with the friendliness of the Hostess when we first came in.

What also struck me was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Even the bathroom was clean which is usually not the case in some busy eating establishments.

It's been a long time since I have been in a restaurant that was constantly full. That, to me, is usually an indicator of the food.

My thoughts weren't wrong! The food is outstanding! There is something here for every palette! I was impressed and could not stop eating.

The Hostess suggested that I be sure to try the Hot and Sour soup, saying that it is authentic the way it is made here. So I took her suggestion and gave the Hot and Sour soup a try. Honestly, I've had Hot and Sour soup many times as it is one of my favourites and didn't think there would be much difference. Was I wrong! The recipe here at King's Wok is truly the best! I was glad that I gave it a try.

The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was very impressed with this establishment and highly recommend it to our TripAdvisor restaurant connoisseurs!

I want to personally thank the Hostess for her food suggestions.

This is a restaurant that I will...
