After returning to Kitsap mall a couple of times over the Holidays, I had noticed a couple of new eating places; located at the main entrance of the mall, in the food court area. I love Chinese food, ok, I love food in general, none-the-less one of the new places was a Chinese food place called Stir fry 88. Although I was very excited to see it, I had some doubts. Mall food, in most cases, isn't exceptional, rather a place for a quick bite during a day of shopping, or working at the mall; it was much easier grabbing a quick bite there versus leaving the mall, driving around, trying to figure out what you were hungry for. Also, I have always felt mall food was a little more expensive. What can I tell you about Stir fry 88? I can tell you I had a combo #1. The choice was one entree with fried rice or noodles (I can't verify white rice being a choice) hard choice for me, but I ended up choosing fried rice, and my entree was Orange Chicken, although next time it may be Bourbon chicken! For the price of $6.69, I was pretty surprised with the quantity I received. I took it out to my car and proceeded to sample my lunch with my fingers crossed. The Orange Chicken, well, there was plenty of that, more than I could eat. One thing that sat Stir Fry 88's Orange Chicken apart from all of the other Orange chickens I have tried in my life was the lack of being able to raise my blood sugar, yes it had a sweetness to it, but it wasn't so overly sweet that I felt I had to forgo sugar for the next week to compensate what I had just eaten and that too me was two thumbs up. The fried rice was pretty darn good as well, and as you can tell in the pictures, a fairly generous portion was given. The rice had good flavor and had a decent texture, meaning not too dry but not like sticky rice. I, personally wish it would have had a little more green onion included and I could not tell if there was eggs included in it or not, I found none. I was there around 11:30 so my food was fresh and hot! The girl that put my meal together and rang me out was polite enough but small chit chat wasn't going to happen, that's ok she had a nice smile and said thank you! So the bottom line is, Would I consider what I ate from Stir Fry 88 as exceptional Chinese food? probably not, but I would categorize it as pleasant food and I look forward in trying some of their other food as well; Stir Fry 88 is a little out of my way, just simply because I rarely grace the mall with my presences, but I will return eventually! Stir Fry 88 is located in the Kitsap Mall main entrance, food court area, 10315 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale WA. I understand there is delivery through Grubhub, Doordash and a couple of other delivery places. What I have read is Stir Fry 88 has many locations throughout the United States and jobs are so important to everyone, everywhere right now so support your local Stir Fry 88 and please support all local or small owned businesses, they all need us! Protect yourself, your family and protect others, most of all it's a new year so hang in there !!!!

This place is SO bad. And they have no idea how bad they are at their "craft." The chicken fried rice was onion fried rice with a couple scraps of chicken. My chicken dish was burned. Add to this they are just bad at customer service. They trip over each other and still get nowhere. Granddaughter and I gave all the food back and told them it was REALLY bad food. Then went to an actual restaurant. Skip this place. Take the time to find a place to sit down and enjoy a meal together. This place is not it.

I recently moved here from Renton. And pretty much every single Asian restaurant in this area is bad. Except for this place. The chicken mushroom is amazing. The Jalapeño chicken delicious. The broccoli chicken cooked perfectly. The fried rice was ok. Get the noodles instead. And the price $7.89 for 1 item $8.89 for 2 items. The Boba is a little pricey at $5.00.

Seriously my favorite Chinese food I’ve had in the PNW. When I was pregnant I had a specific craving for “mall food court” Chinese. I found this place an hour from where I live and would go twice a week. I just love everything about it. It’s quick and accessible from the parking lot, huge portions at very reasonable portions, same familiar faces. The two ladies and the gentlemen working there are such hard workers and always provide consistent surface. All of the dishes are good, but I always get combo two with noodles, jalapeño chicken and hibachi chicken. It’s just the best. If you don’t like spicy make sure to get the hibachi chicken it has an excellent flavor. I don’t know what the negative reviewers are saying but it’s wrong. I love...

This place is located inside the Kitsap mall. They are either incredibly busy or not busy at all. Every time we go there they've always had the food options we've wanted, so that's kinda nice. I wouldn't expect that from a mall Chinese place, but they've hit the mark on that one. Food quality wise, not great. You get large quantities of food for a low price, and you truly get what you pay for. Fried rice with no seasoning or vegetables. Chow mein with bloated noodles. Rubbery, fatty chicken. This place is excellent if you're short on cash, slightly depressed and want something better than Marie calendar sweet and sorry chicken. All in all, it's mall...
