The food encouraged me to write my first review, as the area has very few high quality food trucks. I will DEFINITELY be returning for breakfast again. I had the sausage and gravy crunch wrap, which blew me away; very unique textures for a breakfast sandwich. The portion was great and appropriately priced (I'd even say it was cheap for the area); plenty of egg and sausage. Made fresh, served hot, and quick! The sauces are not homemade, but I tried the habanero and ghost sauces which were both fantastic; loaded with flavor rather than just heat, and they don't overpower the main event. Based on the quality of the food, I would assume that they chose to outsource hot sauce for a good reason (equipment, consistency, access to ingredients); these were not cheap/basic sauces. The owner/operator is friendly. The area is a little off the main road, and there's no seating in the immediate area other than the ground; for me, that doesn't matter (just mentioning in case it matters to you). For a small group, there are some tables outside of the hotel next door. I'm not sure if the hotel minds, but that's where I ate and it provided a great view of...
Read moreThis joint is a breath of fresh air in Summit County's lacking breakfast scene. Thank you for opening at 7:00 so skiers can fuel up and still make first chair!
Swung by on the way to A-Basin. It was a little hard to find, but just look for the yellow truck. No one else was there. The guy working was very friendly. I got Daddy's Burrito with Chorizo and a medium spice sauce, and it surpassed all expectations. Huge burrito! The coffee was strong and delicious. I loved that he toasted the burrito before wrapping it up to get the tortilla perfect. The truck appeared very clean, and for the germ-scared folks out there, he was wearing a mask and gloves.
Highly recommended! Give this place your money - Summit needs more casual, quick, affordable...
Read moreI was excited to try the breakfast burritos and Crunchwrap but overall disappointed.
The sauces were fantastic. We tried the spicy and the mild.
Unfortunately the burrito filling and the Crunchwrap were left on the griddle too long.
We could tell the fillings had good flavor but the overwhelming taste of burnt tortilla or potato just overpowered everything.
The portions were solid for the price. You could easily split a burrito between two people.
I know that it can be difficult juggling the preparation of the food and taking phoned in and in person orders. It looked like a one man operation today so others might not have the...
