The new Sioux City location started out so wonderfully; for a short, sweet span of time after its grand opening, orders were always correct and employees were welcoming, friendly, and appeared to know exactly what was expected of them.
Some time later, we have consistently incorrect orders, which implies that the kids working at the Sioux City location either do not actually adhere to the orders being made by the customers (whether that is taking orders at the drive thru intercom or preparing them in the kitchen), or they are just severely forgetful and oblivious to the very job they signed up for in the first.
The order that finally prompted this review was for a prime rib burger that was not modified as I had requested at the drive thru (a very, very basic and amazingly simple request). I had asked the employee at the drive thru if the prime rib burger came with mushrooms on it, to which the employee answered that it does come with mushrooms. I requested that the mushrooms be left off the burger and the employee agreed to do so. I pull up to the window and receive my order. Only when I double check the burger do I realize that there are indeed mushrooms on the burger. My question is: what if I were someone that happened to have severe allergic reactions to mushrooms, potentially fatal allergic reactions? Congratulations, you just caused the death of a customer! This is a situation that absolutely could happen and there's no way to no who you could harm (or kill) by not adhering the exact orders given to you by your customers. The fact that I have had much greater experiences at ordering food at McDonald's and them actually preparing it correctly is astonishing.

Read moreTook almost an hour to get through the drive thru, which is to be expected since it’s the new place in town. What a waste of an hour! Over $40 for 2 meals (California burger meal/Original burger meal) and 3 appetizers (onion rings/cheese curds/cheese fries). The burgers were undercooked - very, VERY pink in the middle - and GREASY! I held the burger up and the grease just ran off of it. I couldn’t even eat the bottom bun because it was so soaked with grease it stuck to the box! The fries were so greasy when I went to dump them out of the box onto a plate, they literally held the shape of the box, and the grease from the bottom of the fry box ran all over. The cheese fries had maybe - MAYBE - a teaspoon of cheese and very little of that was on the fries - most of it was on the lid of the container they came in. I also ordered ranch plus extra ranch and fry sauce - not sure if sauces are free but I hope so as I didn’t get any. The absolute only positive thing I can say is they have Pepsi products. What a total let down! Sioux City has desperately needed a new restaurant for quite awhile now, and out of the hundreds of choices available, this is the one we get stuck with! Take my advice - save your time and money and go...
Read moreThe place is amazing! Although everyone In the area feels like they have to eat there at the same time which makes the place seem packed they put people outside with tablets to keeps orders going. Two lanes through the drive through and I didn’t even have to come to a complete stop at the window. They are that fast. I love their buns they use on the burgers. People who don’t know anything but McDonald’s would say they were greasy. That’s ignorant by definition. You are never going to get anything but fresh delicious food from this place. The fact that they always have customers proves my point because the food doesn’t have time to sit around. I love the Karen who left a shitty review on a takeout order that she no doubt waited a hour to pick up. Then shoved half the fries In her fat mouth and lied saying they shorter her. Nah this place is top notch and doing amazing. Anyone that leaves less than five stars can … use you imagination. Thanks for the awesome selection and great service! I’ll keep...
