EDIT: My coworker came back with the burgers and the burger was medium rare/rare. We’re done after this experience. I’m going to start with they messed up our orders. Not only did they mess up our orders, they refused to give us some form of a refund because my coworker said she was able to go pick up the remade burgers (I’m pregnant and I can’t miss lunch). The bacon on my burger wasn’t cooked properly. One piece was completely raw while the tip of the other piece was raw. Therefore, I couldn’t eat any portion of the burger due to it being contaminated and I’m not risking my unborn child’s wellbeing over some uncooked bacon. Let’s move onto the ghost cheeseburger. There was no ghost cheese sauce on this burger and it was normal bacon, not the jalapeño bacon it was supposed to have. My burger also didn’t have the garlic aioli on it or the extra aioli on the side that we paid for. The chislic didn’t come with the ranch that we asked for either. Just the ghost cheese sauce. My coworker ran back to get the burgers as I need to eat given my current situation and we just spent $70 on incorrect food. The manager said if they wouldn’t have remade it, they would’ve been able to refund it. That’s ridiculous and this is not how you run a business. Especially when 2 people have to leave to get food. The manager said the owner doesn’t allow them to compensate people in these situations. Horrible customer experience and I don’t think we’ll be supporting them in the future. We’ve been long time customers and this definitely turned us away. This isn’t how you run a business.

The food's okay. For a place highlighting the chef and at this price point, I honestly expected more quality. The view is great. I don't see any way to reply to the owner's question other than to edit the original review, so the following was added after seeing their question and reading some of the other reviews. I don't know what happened that night, but based on the other reviews it must not be typical. Actually, something must have been very wrong that day. We waited a very long time for bruschettas after being told the cracklins were not available, had an apple pie-tini with no evidence of any nutmeg, the ribeye was on top of a risotto gone pasty, and the broccoli was mostly stem, to the point that my wife at first thought it was the asparagus she had wanted replaced with broccoli. While I might be prone to think the chef was absent that night, that wouldn't explain the relatively basic selections of the menu. The drinks were creatively named, so that was fun. And duck is not on most local menus, but the rest is easily found around town. I can only base my review on our experience and was disappointed. I hope for the sake of our little economy that it was a fluke.

Ode to Food was something I tried first during the pandemic, and always wanted to go back. They were open for lunch, then stopped serving lunch, and have since started to serve lunch again. I was very pleased to find this out, and a friend and I recently went to try it. The menu is substantial with a variety of delicious sounding sandwich and salad options, as well as a full bar. The IPA on tap was was reasonably priced at $6 a glass. I had their version of a blue cheese burger with bacon with a side of fries, and my friend had their blackened tuna burger with a side caesar salad. Overall, both plates were executed well, and my burger was sizable and topped with delicious crispy onion. A couple of critiques, nothing major, but something that prevented me from pushing the review to five stars: while I did order the burger medium well, it was definitely very well cooked - a note to self to make sure to just say medium next time; and the blackened tuna burger, while seared perfectly was a little strangely a little cold. Regardless, I will definitely be back to try it the future and definitely recommend other to do the same!

The last time my husband and I dined at Ode, it was a standalone restaurant. We enjoyed it. Today, as we pulled up, we realized it was now part of the Country Inn & Suites. We should have trusted our guts and left. But we stayed. We went for the Father's Day BBQ I saw advertised. For $35, we were anticipating an array of delicious food and meat. The buffet included a lettuce salad with croutons and dressing (no cheese or veggies), chips & queso (decent), potato chips & cheese puff balls (umm 🤔), fresh fruits (fine), 2 kinds of mac 'n cheese that were basic and dried out, baked beans straight from the can, corn on the cob (decent), potato salad (no flavor), corn bread (meh), hot dogs (very basic), scotcharoos (ok), strawberry pretzel dessert (ok), and then we each were allowed to order 2 kinds of meat from a list of about 10 choices. My ribs were dry, my shrimp skewers were ok, the brisket was fatty, not warm, and had my husband wondering if it might make him sick. The pork loin and grilled chicken were very dry. The pulled pork and fried walleye were quite good. So, use caution, don't expect amazing food, and I highly suggest you dine elsewhere. On a positive note, the servers were very friendly. However, I bid a big goodbye to Ode! I could have had much better food and saved a lot of money had we gone...

Having reservations at five, the three of us arrived on time..There were a few people dining, not overly busy...My wife, who has a disability and walks with a cane for support and her GodMother whose, 86th birthday we were out for walks with a cane also and cannot walk too great a distance...A young man escorted us to a booth, "the farthest from the entrance"...Two thirds of the way Susan's God Mother could walk no farther...We were given a table where she stopped...Host's especially and wait staff need training on recognizing people with disabilities if they are not receiving it...Two seniors with canes for support, who obviously cannot walk from the entrance to the far North part of the dining room, need their obvious inabilities taken into account...There were numerous empty tables enrout to the booth and we were given the table we requested as the 86 year old could not go any farther...We will be back, the wait staff service and food were excellent...Please, recognize people with obvious physical disabilities and seat them accordingly...Also, before your meal you receive a "complimentary palette cleansing with, or without, champagne, " it is a wonderful addition and I don't know of any other dining establishment in SF doing this...Keep it up...Our overall experience was "yes,...
