This is a cute sushi restaurant that’s off the main stream road of busy Skippack. This sits behind and up to the left of Hotel Fiesole. Overall of the food is three stars but the Agedashi Tofu is absolutely amazing and it’s a five star alone!!! It is chunks of tofu that’s nestled in a goodness, comfort dashi broth. My husband had the beef teriyaki with a side of fresh green beans. He stated the beef was not premium but the homemade teriyaki sauce is good. I also had the Salsa de Camaron Roll. This was delicious also. Location as stated is off from the main road. You must drive thru the parking lot of the restaurants in the front to get to Tokyo. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating since we did not have reservations and they made an effort to assist us. We sat outside on their deck which had a very tiny bar that seats 4. It was cute and quaint. Bartender was super nice and cool. Very sociable the entire time. Service was on point with timing. Menu did have a little for everyone. Prices were very good. Cleanliness was good. Atmosphere was great. Overall it was a cute place with great people...

They were very apologetic on the rate of service. My friend got a sushi roll and got it right away. Anything the kitchen was preparing though took LONGER. I'm fairly certain the shrimp tempura appetizer took 45 minutes to come out.- everyone else got their main entrees prior to the tempura coming out- it came out with my meal. If I go back, it would be for takeout, I'm not sure I'd want to wait that long for my meal again. But again, servers friendly. Food delicious. Kitchen SLOW. PS-opportunity to update the decor and also...
Read moreI have to be honest. The food was just despicable. The pork buns were nothing like the ones we have had at other restaurants and left a terrible taste in our mouths. We walked mid-appetizer which I had never done before in my entire life. The server, Ben, was awesome, though.
I should have known to go somewhere else the second I walked in. Loud rap music was playing which is weird for a Japanese restaurant. Then, I found out they had no tea! Just the store bought sweet tea that Americans eat. This place feels like a weird dream. I honestly can’t believe this actually happened. How is...
