I hate my curly hair!! It isn't a nice wavy curl, it is a frizzy mess, especially in hot humid weather. I usually spend an up to an hour each day straightening it, only to walk outside and have it instantly curl and frizz. It has been a never ending battle that seems to have gotten worse over the years. After much convincing and lots of research I finally gave in and on April 21, 2011 I had a keratin hair straightening treatment. For the next 3 - 4 days I could not touch my hair, could not get it wet, could not exercise, could not put it up....I thought I would go insane. When my alarm went off on day 4 I jumped out of bed, I was so desperate for clean hair again and to see how it turned out!! It turned out beautifully!!! I am now on day 37 post-treatment and it has been absolutely wonderful!! I still spend time washing, conditioning (using the special products), drying and straightening (flat iron) my hair. The difference (AND THIS IS BIG!!!) is that once my hair is straight, it STAYS straight. It does not frizz. Even in the most humid weather (today is 92F and 90+ percent humidity) and I have been outside quite a bit, it only gets mildly wavy. I would recommend this treatment to anyone that wants silky straight hair even under the worst conditions. It is not cheap (I am currently seeking a second job so I can fund my new obsession), but it worth every penny!!

Lighter, younger, fresh but not brassy - subtle but noticeable! I have brown hair but didn’t want to take the full plunge to blonde. This lighter color with full radiant highlights is perfect! I recently moved to the area from Jersey. It was time for a haircut but I didn’t want to do the 2 hour drive to my hairstylist I had since way back when. I loved my neighbor’s haircut and she gave me the number to call Skippack Stylekrafters! So I made the appointment and sooo happy I did!! The minute you walk into the salon you receive a warm, welcoming, greeting from the staff; the ambiance, the aesthetics and the charm of the salon and the great tunes playing in the background you just know your experience is going to be phenomenal. I sat with Lauren (the hair technician) and discussed how I wanted my hair cut. Then was brought to the station to get my hair washed. It was the most relaxing, wonderful massage and when I sat up to dry my hair I also got a hot stone massage on my shoulders. Divine!! Then the Magic began when you sit in the chair in front of the mirror as you watch your hair being snipped and cut, tossed and teased into a work of art. Lauren’s passion definitely prevails she has the hands of an artist!! Needless to say I LOVE my haircut and definitely found my hometown...
