Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Smithfield

My S/O and I ordered dinner to go yesterday evening. Everything over the phone went great, I got to the restaurant and my order was ready. I drove 20 minutes to get home and realized they got part of my order wrong and didn’t include my sons dinner at all. I called and explained the situation and asked them to take off the food they didn’t give me, and to take 1/2 off the order they gave me but messed up. The person I was speaking with was very hostile and very unprofessional. This man wanted me to drive back 20 minutes to his store at 7:30 at night in order to get any type of refund or discount. I explained repeatedly that I did not want to do this and putting the money back on my card would be fine. I have my son with no dinner and I now have to cook for him on top of bed time. His anger increased so I handed my S/O the phone. This man started to curse at him and asked him if he wanted to drive to the restaurant to fight. I can not believe that this simple problem became such an altercation. This restaurant wouldn’t give us our money back. They stole from my family. We will never be spending our hard earned money at this poor excuse for a restaurant again. I hope no one else has...

Definitely will not be returning back to this restaurant. Chips were stale, the salsa had a hint of sour tomatoe taste; which indicates it's rancid old (EXPIRED) salsa. That's NO Bueno! There was a gentleman who remained ever present on the dining room floor, I'm wondering if he may have been the floor staff support or supervisor, we asked him for a second menu and he was incredibly rude in his response. Our waiter was however very pleasant (although we only saw him once and that was in taking our order) and then we never heard from or saw him again. Our food was given to us by the particularly rude gentleman who we first encountered and not one person bothered to check if we needed anything there after. Not a "is your food okay, do you need a drink refill," absolutely nothing. We've never had a restaurant experience EVER such as this and we refuse to support local places with poor food quality and services. I strongly suggest skip over this place and drive further in either direction, and you'll find far BETTER Mexican food and service where you...

After we placed our order the waiter and waitress sat several booths away and the lady just kinda glared at us until our food came out, so it was an extremely uncomfortable experience to begin with. The white salsa they serve you tasted like sweetened mayo, it was very bad. The normal salsa was good and the chips were hard, almost stale. We ordered the texas fajitas and the fiesta burrito. The fiesta burrito was hard on both ends like it had been microwaved and it was overall something you could have gotten from the freezer at Wal-Mart. I ordered my texas fajitas with no bell peppers so I had lots of grilled onions. Half of them were inedible because they used the outer green layer of the onion rather than peeling the onions properly before grilling them. My shrimp were very obviously frozen shrimp and extremely dry. There was hardly and chicken and steak on my skillet, but what was there was dry and slightly burnt.
