Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Smyrna

POOR customer service. RUDE car hop. (older woman with shorter, multi-tone blondish hair) There was a problem with the order and instead of offering a SIMPLE FIX that would have taken 30-45 second MAX, she chose to be confrontational and condescending.

I ordered a "regular" hot dog with no onions and a large order of onion rings. (I love onions but RAW onions hate me)They sent out a hot dog with NOTHING on it.

She was pleasantly enough when she brought out my order. I paid and gave her a tip. Once I realized there was NOTHING on the hot dog, I let them know about the mix up. I explained wanted a "regular" hotdog, not a "plain" one. She came out to my vehicle promptly, but NOT to fix the problem. Nay nay. It was to say a "regular" hot dog IS a "plain" hot dog. Then she reached over and pointed to the menu and said we have TWO hotdogs, a chili cheese and an ALL-AMERICAN (with emphasis)

She was clearly upset so I asked for a refund. She came back with my money minus the tip I had given her when she orginally brought out my food. I flipped her off as I drove away. Should I have? no. But she was being so condescending and that was the best option...

This sonic use to be Awesome. But here lately its been less than desirable. About the last three or four times I've been here they have eather totally gotten my order wrong or like this morning, I get home and there is No cheese on my breakfast ham, egg and (cheese) toaster sandwiches. Yes both sandwiches had no cheese. Usually it's the wrong burger in the bag or I ask for no onions and its loaded with onions? Even after repeating no onions and the screen even says no onions. But yet there are onions when I get hm? Just very disappointed because I have been coming here for years. Not sure if it's a new cook or car hop problem? It's just very aggravating ! Finally called today and the young gentleman that answered the phone didn't really seem that worried about it. Yes, he offered for me to come back and replace it. I'm already home tho. It's not that easy to just get back in the car and run back down there when you have two toddlers in tow. I'm baby sitting both of my God children so leaving is not an option. I just want them to pay closer attention to their orders. Sadly I don't think I'll be back...

I usually do not care to write reviews but I feel that it is necessary to do so. Today I went to sonic with my family and ordered a Strawberry shake, peanut butter shake and an Oreo peanut butter shake. To start off, the worker handed us our order and said they had ran out of lids so they gave us fountain drink lids. This was fine until I started drinking my shake. I happened to be drinking the peanut butter shake. While taking my first few sips I noticed a salty bacon taste which at first I thought may have been a roasted peanut taste. As I drank more and more I kept telling my family that I believe I am eating bacon chunks in my shake. Still being oblivious I brushed it off and continued to drink it although it wasn’t pleasant. As I was almost done with my drink I got curious and thought this was strange and decided to get some of the chunks out and rinse them. As I rinsed it to my surprise I found that there was indeed actual bacon. I am truly disgusted by this and hope that they are more careful with other customers.
