McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in South Carolina

I was busy so I was looking for a restaurant that delivered. I ordered online and waited for my food which I got a message that it would be there by 8:08. I didn't realize that I was ordering through Door Dash and that was part of the problem. They couldn't find the house so I had to walk to the main road to meet the driver at 8:14. I got back to my house and found out that there was no dressing for either salad that we ordered. I called the restaurant at 8:22 and was told that I had to call the door dash driver to bring it. I called the driver at 8:24 who was surprised. I waited and by 9:05 had not received the dressing so I tried to call the driver again. It did not go through, I assume that I was blocked. I then had to drive to the restaurant so we could eat our meal. When I got there I was told that it was a mistake but it was ordered through door dash. I said that door dash didn't pack the bag. I was asked how long we would be there which was only a couple days. I was given 2 expired coupons for free meals that would be good for the weekend. We didn't have a chance to go back. This wasn't McAlister's best day. The dining area itself was clean and the food was up to standard, but the staff was lacking general friendliness, composure, professionalism and attention to detail.

My family and I are big fans of McAlister's, often visiting a couple of times in a week. We've visited this location several times during beach vacations over the last 10 years, but after today I don't think I can in good conscience recommend eating here.

From employees dressed sloppily in dirty, untucked shirts with shoes untied, to a cook shouting profanities in the kitchen, multiple small errors with orders at both our table and other tables around us (no silverware, no dressing with a salad, etc.) and an employee who loudly exhaled "are you kidding me?!" when they saw a group of diners arriving at once, this just wasn't the level of service that I've come to expect from the...

We ate here today 03/04/2023 at 12:27 the service was horrible the staff was rude. I got chili and had to ask for a spoon and the girl acted like I asked her to move a mac truck or something and threw it at me. Our food did not come out together and then we got 2 sides and no forks so we sadly had to bother the staff again for 2 forks and they we so mean about it. I looked everywhere for plastic forks so I didn't have to even talk to the staff again but they had non out. I guess they want you to dine in and eat chili and potato salad with your fingers. I made sure to leave a nice tip when I paid before the staff became complete jerks to me and my family but had I known I would be treated so poorly I would have never dined in, to begin with. If you can figure out people need spoons and forks with their food you should maybe not throw them at people will NEVER EVER go to this...
