I'm not quite sure what's going on with this location but the apparent TURNOVER (or whatever is going on) with staff is REDICULOUS!!! New staff members appear to be arbitrarily hired (without an appropriate vetting process) while the majority of existing staff members seem miserable! I don't know if Amanda is blame for the disgruntled piss-poor and disgruntled staff, but I've observed her come off as very patronizing to her employees while she sits around (with a supposed back injury according to one fellow customer) performing "desk duty" out in the café in front of customers. She can do that paper work out of site. I don't believe her staff members care too much for her or for her management style. Half the time my coffee is lukewarm at best. Not to mention that - Months ago, you were greeted by a charismatic, super-friendly, outgoing Barista. Lately, I'm greeted by a monotone, depressing highschool boy, who just doesn't seem to fit in with the Starbucks culture in my opinion. He's only been there a short time but he makes me feel uncomfortable. Instead of worrying about how products are displayed and placed around the cafe, corporate needs to step in and turn this location back into a STARBUCKS, rather than some sort of Dollar-store café...
Read moreWOW to my surprise other people have left negative reviews, including about the slack ass manager Amanda. Clearly Starbucks hires through Craigslist, because this nasty ass is horrible. The best word to describe her? "Slack." Like the others, I'll add that this has to be the SLOWEST Starbucks in the area. CF is the best. Also you can't even get a Teavana Shaken Sweet Tea & Lemonade without it being wrong...if you can't mix two simple things quit your job. You're embarrassing yourself. Something is always the matter with my order. And to the older lady that thumbs up people...you should probably stop. Immediately. I'll go across the street to Dunkin Donuts where they value customer service. The only 5 star thing about this location is Candace (the black girl who's amazing.) She needs to be manager. Get Amanda to clean...
Read moreChristmas Eve day my son went in to get a few gift certificates and a coffee, and was refused service due to the sweatshirt he was wearing. It was from a local gun shop, the person behind the counter said he promoted gun violence and refused him service! It’s pretty sad that the attitude of an uneducated employee to be so rude. My son is a US Army vet and responsible and safe owner, And I am a US Marine Corps vet and retired Police Officer and a very responsible gun owner, and I’m appalled by this action and hope the stance is not the owners and just this rouge employee. Unfortunately it seems to be a pattern in most Starbucks today, and I can say I will never go to another ever, and will do my very best to tell people what happened...
