Tropical Grille — Restaurant in South Carolina

This Trpoical Grille on woodruff road had the ABSOLUTE worst customer service and I am a regular customer at Tropical Grilles. This is my first time at this location. Coming in the young girl with dyed blonde hair and a nose ring at the register was automatically rude. She eye rolled the entire time me and my sister were there. I got some extra sauces like I ALWAYS do at any other location. She come around and rudely approached me to tell me the sauces were dine in only. So I asked if I should just throw the sauces away and she said yes. So I did. The insane thing to me is I would have gladly paid for the sauces but her very rude demeanor immediately frustrated me. It was just so wasteful. She got an attitude to tell me she could get the manager if I wanted to ask them. It was extremely petty. I work in service industry and have been in leadership positions in the service industry. I would have sent someone home for acting the way she did. She lacks any kind of tact and customer service skills. She should never be the first person a guest interacts with and it should be considered to move her to the kitchen or replace her entirely. Recently went to this restaurant to pick up a to-go order that was already paid for and ready. Stood in front of the counter for almost 5 minutes while the manager kept giving myself and my fiancee a dirty look because she needed to take care of us because the only cashier had been taking a call ahead order when we walked in. While we continued to stand there for five minutes another customer walked in. The manager came out of the back in a hurry to greet her. She offered the new customer a water and started to take her order while my fiancee and I were still standing there for five minutes with our order ready on the counter just waiting to be put in the bag so we could leave. When our meals were finally bagged, I had to ask three times for sauce with my meals. Once we were given sauces, i was once again given a dirty look because I asked for more sauce when they gave us three sauces for five meals. Will not be returning to this location. I would like to highlight Quinzelle and his staff on Woodruff rd. I hope I spelled his name correctly, but he is the manager working right now! I ordered a smash burger for the 1st time ever last night for my husband. The order came to nice and hot. However, we live in Simpsonville and I didn't check it until I got home. Needless to say the burger wasn't exactly made how I ordered it. (Simple mistake) Here is where my experienced was elevated. I called and spoke to Quinzelle about the mistake, and his customer service shined through the phone. He was very apologetic, and not dismissive. He quickly offered me to return, but since I couldn't, he allowed my husband to pick up a freshly made order today. My husband just got back home, and was so pleased with meeting Quinzelle that I had to do this review! He displayed outstanding customer service to us! Please celebrate him in the highest way that you can. His location will be a top 3 stop for our enjoyment...
