Unremarkable food, but decent enough that we ordered from here every time we were in town.
This last visit was really frustrating though, and due to extremely poor customer service, we won't be coming back.
Ordered veggie egg rolls that were very dry, and the rest of my food was totally inedible because of a mistake made in their kitchen.
I had made a special request and explained what we wanted at least three times. The woman on the phone repeated it back to me and verbally indicated that she understood what I was asking for.
When I got the food home, it was apparent that they goofed. No big deal - called to ask them to remake my food correctly.
The owner got on the phone and was really rude and wouldn't let me speak without interrupting me. He said it was my fault for ordering something confusing and said he would remake the normal menu item, but would not customize it for our dietary needs. I asked for a refund; he refused. I said I'd have my credit card company reverse the charges, and he encouraged me to go that route. Clearly he cares not for providing good customer service.

Read moreNo longer offer table service, to go or eat to go order at the table only. Fairly extensive new menu with updated prices and lots of options for you to pick from. Place has a dated interior (as so much of SoHa is) however the prices are pretty low for the area and the food is plentiful as well as very tasty.
Ordered a few items to try them out and sample their skills and recipes. The teriyaki beef sticks is a solid 4 outta 5 The orange chicken was so hot and very tasty I burned my mouth shoveling it in lol The hot and sour soup was just meh, I think they messed up the recipe on this one cause it tastes nothing like any of the 1000s of H&S soups I've tried through my travels - tasted like a lemon vegetable soup or something 🤷 was not hot nor sour.
Will definitely return whenever I'm back in the SoHa area
I'm a critic when it comes to places (I average 2 stars on google) so I can't figure out why others have such an issue with this place. Definitely worth a stop in for the family and a meal...
Read moreWe live out of town and were hungry for chinese food. Once we got home we found lint, paper, and hairball in our rice. I called and talked to the owner he said he didn't know what I was talking about when I described what we found in our rice. Basically I felt like he felt I was lying about what I found. He tried to tell me it was from the paper cartons. I explained again what I found was not from the container. He said he would be better understand if I could show it to him and he would replace our rice. I said I live too far away to be able to come back to get rice replaced. His reply was I don't know what you would like me to do if you don't want to drive in for new rice. He also mentioned he has been in business for 30 years and have never heard of something like this in his food.I will drive to St. Joseph to get Chinese from now on. I do not reccomend this place at all owner was rude and the food...
