Avoid this location at all costs. The manager needs to go through training again, or just be fired. I ordered catering online for a work lunch. Went in the next day to pick it up, and was told there was a problem with the order so they didn’t make it. No one could be bothered to call me? I showed them my order confirmation and they did prepare it while I waited, and I left. The work lunch was 30 minutes late because of this. The manager called me an hour later and left a message saying the payment didn’t go through and I needed to come back to the store to pay for the order since my card wasn’t charged. So they could call me when they wanted their money, but not when there was a problem with the order? Ridiculous. I went back to the store, paid in cash, and left. When I got home, I saw that my card was indeed charged anyway. So I payed for this order twice. I called the restaurant the next day and was told the manager was not in but they would leave her a message and make sure it was her first priority to call me back. She did not. I called back 5 hours later and the manager answered the phone. I told her what was going on and that I have my receipt for the cash, the charge on my card, my order confirmation, and the voicemail she left me. She put me on hold so she could check some things, then put a worker back on the phone and I could hear her telling him what to say. What was the point of that? They told me the card showed declined on their end so they needed to contact their online support and they would get right back to me. They did not. I submitted a complaint through the website customer service and was told the same thing. The card shows declined on their end. They don’t care. Here I am, with a completed charge of over $200 on my card and they don’t care. They are totally fine with stealing that money from me. They wasted so much of my time between waiting for them to make the order, having to go back to the store for them to steal money from me, waiting for calls back from the manager which never happened, and waiting to hear back from customer service. Read moreMom and I were having a rough day running around pick up paperwork for my upcoming custody court date, so we stopped in for lunch. We walked in the door and before we were all the way through the door we were warmly welcomed by all 4 of the staff members. Mom hasn't been here in years so she hadn't tried several of the newish dishes. The sweet server Yackely let her sample several of them (all of which we ended up getting!) The staff was super friendly and seem like they really love working here! The shift lead, Derek, was very professional and his customer service skills were over the top! He made us both feel like we were the only customers in the building, mind you it is lunch time, and made sure that not only was our food great but checked on is to see if there was anything we needed or anything he could get us. I have been to some "sit down" restaurants were the service wasn't this good! Mom said she never gets to come here because her hubby had a bad experience at a different location and hasn't been back for years. Asked for a large side order of the walnut shrimp and they only filled it about half way. I told them it seems a little empty for a large and they still just passed it down to ring out. Also asked for a small side order of rice. They were out of small containers in the front and said they only had large ones which considering they were only open an hour and a half they shouldn't have been out already. She was acting like it was an inconveniance to go in the back so I told her I would just take the large. not looking to be given the price for the small but should have at least offered. The rice was awful and tasted old. They seemed a little unable to handle a lunch rush. Was there for about a half an hour waiting for my food, partly because I had to wait for veggies to cook but still.
